there are places that have extended deals actually....yet even with that and online deals, people line up on Black Friday. Freedom is a funny thing. I hate them, but believe people are free to do that if they want.

now, if you had to stand there to survive because a socialist government seized power and destroyed your ability to make money - that’s a shame.

they happened under FDR - who implemented the first forms of welfare to America, made it illegal to speak out against his government, jailed people due to their skin color and refused to step down until he died in office - causing a constitutional amendment to ensure another socialist didn’t seize power again.

Like, FDR led us out of the great depression but what led to it?

you have yet to answer my question but I’ll answer yours. Since we’ve been a country we’ve been close to the capitalist end of the scale. Yes some horrid democrats like FDR have tried to hijack the country - and there were breadlines during his time due to his horrible mismanagement of the country. But they’re a staple of everyday life in countries that practice your brand of socialism. Nice fail job attempting a cherry pick that actually demonstrates what a fail your beliefs are.

also did you say FDR led us out of the Great Depression? LOL - FDR turned a regular economic downturn INTO the Great Depression.

WWII ended that mismanagement. He didn’t lead us out of anything but prosperity. It’s no different than Obama failing to have a single year of 3% growth - left wing policies simply don’t work.

Nevermind the fact that the lowest point in GDP was before he took office.

Thats not to say he wasnt a racist asshole. But that was in fashion at the time.

Again, he didn’t cause the original economic downturn - he just turned a normal downturn into the Great Depression by severe left wing mismanagement.

And yes chops, fortunately we’ve never had a far left government here. The fact that we’re free to write our opinion here is evidence of that. Left wing governments enslave and murder their people.

no, the worst part wasn’t the low point - it’s that he extended it for an extra decade.

yes there’s always recoveries after downturns. They usually take a couple of years. His took over 10.
