Can't forget that the US gives the most foreign aid in the world. Over $31 billion. Almost double the country in second place.

If you look on the number per inhabitant, America falls down from that position pretty hard. European countries such as Denmark skyrockets there. Not to say America does not give, but the greater amount is only due to their size, not any overwhelming generosity.

And has the highest debt on the Planet, the most incarcerated Citizens per Capita on the Planet, the highest spending on Defense on the Planet (more than the next ~26 Countries combined) and that isn't a "good" thing because it comes at the expense of it's own Citizens. We also have the most expensive Death Care system (oops, was supposed to type Health Care). We're 1 of only 2 Countries ON EARTH that doesn't have standardized Maternity leave. There are more vacant Homes (thanks to Big Banks that faced no criminal charges) than there are Homeless people.... Need I go on?

America has plenty of problems - it's where you identify the source and likewise apply the solution that separates people into parties.

Identifying problems has already been done - no one will think you are special if you can pull up statistics from google.

The only voice we have, and granted we use a very antiquated system of Political election, is through voting.

Actually, although this not really the EU but rather a country within the EU, a colleague of mine and I were just discussing today about how London is on the cusp of electing it’s first Muslim mayor. From what I understand there has been quite a bit of mudslinging back and forth over there. It has been pretty nasty.
