I find this conversation hilarious though. It feels like a few of you are trying way to hard to play up the difficulty of healing at 19.

So first you say that the only thing separating a good healer from a bad one, is their positioning, now you admit to there being more involved. Even going so far as to say that no healer is perfect and they all need to work on something. So from what I've seen, we have come to the conclusion that there is in fact more than one thing that makes a healer more skillful than others, as well as things that every healer needs to work on. Doesn't that contradict your whole argument?

personally i don't play priest much so this may not all be right but i think most will agree, as a priest things that can increase skillcap are:

melding polys
guising polys
melding fears
guising fears
see movement from enemy interupter and either move back or fake cast
predicting damage - that means keeping track of crusader procs/warlock casts/boomkin casts/arcane mage stacks/wheres the rogue?
being aware of shaman position to stop instant bubble purges


if youre telling trying to say that none of this takes skill, then i'm sure as much as people don't like me they'll agree that perhaps you should run back to your 70 gang

So if prehealing/prebubbling is void of skill, then what happens when one of your front line dps gets nuked and dies, is that just unavoidable?

I didn't know that guising CC, and tracking procs/burst are considered positioning.

I'm not saying that 19s take skill, I'm simply stating that some players are better than others, as well as some players are the best. In that sense, it does take skill to be the best twink out there, sorry if some people fall short of such a prestigious honor.
