If the removal of stat stacking in instanced PvP has the desired effect, then it will cut down the burst enough that 29s can no longer two-shot a f2p twink. With abilities like earth shock and haunt; however, I'm not so sure that it will. There have been many many times when people that rely on being overpowered have showed signs of not being able to do things like using the terrain to stay alive or turn around quickly after you get behind them, so I'm hoping that the changes coming in Legion will ruin this bracket for those people and they are forced to compete on somewhat equal footing with f2p and non twinks just leveling through the bracket. I hardly ever touch my 20s due to the amount of OP chant-stacking vets and 29s. Even though I have 100s I won't stoop to their level and I will definitely be playing the Hell out of my linked starter edition characters when the pre-patch drops.

29s was a thing in vanilla, f2ps came in cata. How dare those filthy F2Ps insult us like that!

Nah, f2p addon in Aerie Peak(the main trial server), is more empty than never before.

It hasn't even been 24 hours since the fix, give it some time

I only played my unlinked f2p priest during the last year and I love the new patch. 3-5min queues are great and now even scaling is back, gathering blues from crates are a big motivation right now.

All this means more PvP than during WoD, which is fine because there is not much PvE content left for me. (3000+ Achv-points char-only without p2p help)

What I still not get is all this hating/flaming/etc. in these threads.
Frustration, boredom or just plain misbehaviour? Idk....

F2ps have always been the highest skilled players in this bracket ever since the introduction of starter editions. Some f2ps went p2p in mop and wod, some f2ps went to endgame, some went to 19s, and some quit the game. You won't "slap them about still" because now they are scaled to 29, you will know f2ps wrath when you see it inside of your own graveyard.

Thats not the way to look at it burg. Of course we all have old players we miss and many of those old players were very good at what they did. That is the past and this is the present, it is up to the remaining og bracket players to once again take charge and expand the playerbase, be open to new potential players, help them in any way you can and they just might stick around and evolve into a great player.

F2p is a player who is level 20 with no gametime, vet is a 20 with enchants and no gametime.

As a F2P i was discouraged to play since i would be going up against people 9 levels higher than me.
I hope now i wont need to put loads of effort into the game just to enjoy it.

Actually vets are still a thing because outside of bgs/arenas they are far more powerful than f2ps due to enchants hint hint don't duel a vet as a f2p.
