Also, to those who are contesting the invited teams concept, this is not anything new or unique to this tournament. Almost every esport has invited teams in tournaments. GCDTV usually has 6-7 invited teams and 1-2 qualified teams. I think this rolls over perfectly to 19s because

1) The 19 bracket is quite small
2) Rosters include 13 people
3) Some teams are obvious powerhouses

The invited teams concept is fine imo, it reflects the most active members of te community, yet it still leaves room for newcomers to play

surely one team in here does not have 3 people on the f ucking rules committee ? right?
the same guys who tried to sneak in a 3 druid rule so they could run guardian/boomy/rdruid ?

RECENT CHANGES TO THE OFFICIAL POST:

  • Obtainable Items/Enchants are considered to be Items/Enchants that are still obtainable within the game through methods such as Purchasing from a Vendor, the Auction House or Craftable by Profession in this current patch (6.2.4).
  • Excluding Fishing Hats with enchants (listed in the Legal Head Enchants section) ALL Head enchants that are NO LONGER OBTAINABLE are BANNED.
  • All Leg Enchants that are NO LONGER OBTAINABLE are BANNED
  • All Shoulder Enchants that are NO LONGER OBTAINABLE are BANNED.
  • Each player is permitted to use up to a maximum of TWO weapon enchants of which one of the choice of enchants must fall under the Offensive Weapon Enchant OR Hybrid Weapon Enchant section of the thread, the other MUST be a weapon enchant that falls under the Defensive Weapon Enchant section of the thread.
  • Healers are NOT limited to any number of weapon enchants and thus are allowed to swap to any weapon enchant as they see fit at any time.
  • No two of the SAME weapon enchants are allowed to be stacked by any class excluding Rogues and Monks. However Monks are NOT permitted to stack Offensive Weapon Enchants EXCLUDING Elemental Force.
  • When a Dual Wielding class/spec swaps to a Defensive Weapon Enchant they are permitted to swap to ANY two Defensive Weapon Enchants allowing them to wield one Defensive Weapon Enchant in each hand.
  • Hunter Scope Enchant Spoiler Added.
  • Any items that require you to be level 20 or higher to obtain is BANNED.
  • Battle Standards are now permitted.

Discord changes have been discussed and decided on but the update for that on the Official Post will come within the next 24 hours.

Updates we made based on a meeting that took place whilst all of the Twink Cup Committee and all of the Invited Team Leaders were present.

Changes seem reasonable.
The arcanum on the the Fishing hat especially.
Perhaps we should set up a separate thread for sign ups ONLY. That would ensure no team is accidentally missed. We are now less that fifty days away!

No teams are going to get missed. This is redundant. Anyone who feels like they've been overlooked in any way is more than welcome to send a personal PM to Conq/Blackout/lindenkron

Thanks!

Good, well thought out changes. I don't think anyone even specifically addressed healer enchants, but I was wondering about priests/shammies and ele force-spellpower-heartsong.

Do have a question though.

As a few GF'd enchants such as 13sp on BoE bracers are *technically* able to be bought and sold on AH, even as of current patch, I just want to make sure there's not wiggle room in the definition.

Did you even read the front page? It explicitly says and I quote: "The enchant '+13 Spell Power' to bracers is BANNED."

Nope, I read the front page when it first came out, and I read the "recent changes" post on this page which didn't address that in the least.

I'd suggest working on that tone, as a staff member(which I'm sure you've heard before). I don't think that was quite warranted.
