Often times people who play in tournaments don't like the rules, those who express themselves in a respectable fashion, with logic, will be the ones whose opinions are considered.
I think my biggest concern is the shift in meta 2 months before the tournament that until now I don't think the majority were expecting. I like the idea behind why you guys implemented it to open up some more comps, but what I don't think we all realize if we open this set of rules is that we enable teams to run 3 of the best class in the game (druid) and have an extra of two of the top two classes in terms of mobility (druid/monk). By opening this set of rules, we actually funnel ourselves to which comps people can run. There would be no reason to not run 3 druids, and the majority of teams would run 3 monks. Especially coming after the double boomkin ban just a month prior to this, we will see similar results if we open up teams to play 3 druids/3 monks. They are just better than the other classes at 19 in terms of map control (Hunter falls in between druid and monk in terms of mobility) and teams that choose not to run an extra druid will be at an extreme disadvantage, and it seems silly to leave monk at 3 if every other class in the game is limited to 2 of a class. That extra druid slot on alot of teams would be taking up a 4th healer slot or a 6th dps slot, which more often than not, the last slot a team chooses to fill out their 10 man composition often is the "stamp" to their playstyle. That area of team individuality and creativity will be taken away because every team will fill this slot with a druid.
Druid is 100% too strong to allow 3, it is by far the best class at 19. I understand the idea behind monk as there are 3 viable specs that people may want to run, but to keep the integrity of all the other classes it should be limited to 2 to keep things even across the board.
As for the discord idea, from a viewership standpoint sounds awesome. To throw this on every team participating in the event I think is a bit unreasonable in terms of team discussions/strategies/shit talk etc, EVEN THOUGH THE HYPE WOULD BE SICK, so i get it... Could we maybe find a balance where audio clips could come out after the games were played that day of games were played? I know I will be sitting their watching every game trying to get an advantage on teams, if something slips about their playstyle in the middle of the game im taking that for keeps, and everyone else is hungry as well so im sure this would be mutual standpoint of all teams participating.
But i totally agree for communication reasons and to keep the event moving I really like the idea of discord, I just think for team/tournament integrity will be lowered if unedited clips of teams audio comes out on the live stream.
Something similar to League of Legends when they show clips from the last matches or games from the day before where teams have a hype moment in their call where everyone is pumped and banging out is fun for everyone to hear after the games are set in stone, I just feel unedited/unexpected audio material is going to leak dirty laundry that people don't want to share to the public, whether it be mongoloid screaming in the games or team strategies that come out.
TLDR: 3 Druid/3 Monk needs to be gone 100%, by opening up those classes for teams to play, we limit the amount of comps teams will run due to Druid being a for sure pickup on every team, monk being a strong choice. I like the idea of discord for a smooth tournament and communication, we lose tournament integrity with live audio clips. Edited audio clips in short videos I think is a reasonable middle ground.
To anyone fussing about Gf'd enchants.. I can make THE ONE you need.

Proof:
this guy tooCan we ban this guy, he's publicly trying to lure people in to a scam right here right now, rofl.
we have many comps that we have bent the rules to use to our advantage, lets not forget blackout is on our team too. the cup is ours!!11Obviously Muskie and Ephidel are trying to get the rules go their way with the Guardian dream. It's frustrating to see.
god i love how much u hate me. no hard feelings, ur jumpin vid just suckedCan we ban this guy, he's publicly trying to lure people in to a scam right here right now, rofl.
Please rewrite it so a 'Jump' doesn't require using the jump function once, but twice instead.
Right now, by your rules, small and irrelevant jumps that players will do without thinking about it will be banned.
An example:
ur stupid, with that logic jumping on a lamp pole is banned.
u need to use ur brain sometimes mvQQ
u said ''small and irrelevant jumps that players will do without thinking about it will be banned.''Jumping on a lamp pole doesn't do anything.
And how is jumping on a lamp pole banned?
u said ''small and irrelevant jumps that players will do without thinking about it will be banned.''
and i said ''with that logic jumping on a lamp pole is banned'' coz everyone is smart enough to figure out obvious legal jumps werent included in the vid
The wording of the definition of a "Jump" cannot be reworded as it will cause some loopholes in jumps in others areas of which we would like to avoid having to deal with on the day of the cup. The only way to make jumps like those legal, would be for them to be integrated into the video. That area of things is out of my hands and if the people organizing the media development do not wish to change/add to the current video those jumps will indeed be off limits this year unfortunately. I'm sorry to say that but that's just the way it has to be with a matter as intricate as this. I hope that something can be done to maximize the amount of legal jumps we can have in this years event. Please rewrite it so a 'Jump' doesn't require using the jump function once, but twice instead.

An example:
There are differences between jumps that require only 1 jump and jumps that require 2 jumps. Jumps like the stomp jump where u basically just walk up, is still kinda considered as a jump because its an old routing way that has been used for a long time, its popular and everyone knows about it. There's a huge difference in relevance which makes the vid include some jumps over others. Jumping on a lamp pole is OBVIOUSLY not banned coz its 1 of the the most useless and irrelevant jumps in the gulch. thats why it didnt get included in the vid.No, jumping on a lamp requires no more than 1 jump and therefor isn't 'A Jump', which makes it not banned.
It clearly states in the rules that anything NOT in the video is banned, which makes all these small things like lamp jumps and such banned, which seems completely absurd and unnecessary when they can simply just make 'A Jump' require 2 jumps or more instead of 1.

EDIT: Also people need to recognize that because something can be categorized or defined to be a "Jump" does NOT make it illegal. Do not convince yourselves that if something is deemed to be a jump that it is OFF LIMITS.
Well idk, speak to other people it's out of my handsNo. There is not a single scummy jump that can be done by using the Jump function once. So that's a complete false claim, and I really wonder where you have this information from.

in a football match, there are rules about specific things like crotch pinching and shit, if u do that u shall witness the consequences.. when u think or read the rules it doesnt say ''Dont kill your opponents'' coz its OBVIOUS
idk why u keep hanging on to little details nobody else worries or cares about
The jumps shown in the video below are exclusively the ones permitted in the TC 2016. Any jump that is not in the video is strictly forbidden and will result in a warning or penalty in accordance to its severity.

You're actually the stupidest fucking cunt in this bracket. Mouth breathing sack of shit waste of my ducking time. I am disgusted that I even know of your existenceObviously Muskie and Ephidel are trying to get the rules go their way with the Guardian dream. It's frustrating to see.
