Come on guys! What's all this fuss about.

I mean look at Dan, he's still excited to play. You should all take it easy and enjoy the game!

Hehe, lots of people in this community think with their hearts, and not their heads, i'm not one of those.
That's not true based off your posts

This is a very bold statement to make, the last word to accurately describe this years event is "runied". I'm disappointed to hear that come from you, i always seen you as a person with your head screwed on.
Can you just resign please

I can do what I want, I don't represent or stand for the TC.

Yeah, but why would you want to be a whiny, aggressive troll? It's like, you're desperately pleading for attention by needlessly calling people out, then admonishing the responses you're hoping for.

It's not a very attractive stance, to say the least. You should find more constructive and worthwhile things to say instead, because what you're doing doesn't help anything or anyone.

Can we please break from the 19 tradition of needless bickering for the sake of something so many people are looking forward to?

It's already been said(a lot) that the first post/rules are going to be considered and "possibly" revised, it just takes time for people who live in different areas and have different lives to sync up.

Give it time instead of complaining in circles. These people in charge of the event don't have their own PR team, and they aren't PR professionals -- they're just people who like 19s. Don't hold them to an unrealistic standard with their gut responses to nonconstructive criticism, especially when you yourselves have an unrealistic expectation of how tournament organization/proceedings/etc go forward.

Every team should have had representation, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. You had to have tried really hard to goof that up.

Bravo.

can you please remove painaids name from your signature/that quote entirely it triggers me thanks

Linden, there's no need to take all this (bítchy) feedback personal. Everyone in their right mind can see what a good job you guys have done, and we appreciate the hours you spent on this.
Obviously people would bítch about something, you can't please everyone.

OT: i have faith in everyone involved in the TC to make the right decisions, and I'm sure everyone will be more or less satisfied with the ruleset once they have been overlooked a couple of times and everythig has calmed down

@muskiebad @Conq @Ephidel @lindenkron

Please rewrite it so a 'Jump' doesn't require using the jump function once, but twice instead.
Right now, by your rules, small and irrelevant jumps that players will do without thinking about it will be banned, like jumping down on a Lamp post when jumping off Alliance ramp. I do that all the time by mistake.

There's not a SINGLE scummy jump that can be done by using the Jump Function ONCE. There is no downside to this change. Only good.

An example of banned "jumps" by your definition:

I think common sense will reign supreme there MVQ buddy. Nobody on either side is going to consider anything you circled there a "jump." I think the wording is fine to stop any funny business(and the funny thing is, almost entirely on your part.)

They defined what a jump is, so yes they are gonna consider those things jumps.

Here's the definition for you since you clearly didn't read the thread.

The NWL said:
The definition of a 'Jump' is as followed:
"Using the jump function (Default keybind: Spacebar) once or more consecutively and/or in a sequence in an attempt to access a different location on the map than where the individual was before the use of the first jump."
and/or
"Using invisible ledges combined with the jump function to access a different location on the map than where the individual was before the use of the first jump."

You still fuss about little silly details? Or still pist my vid got chosen? :333

conq/blackout/jaxel ruined this year TC over complicated rules.

And if sr won't participate this TC will be boring.

I wouldn't say they ruined it.
But yeah they over complicated things.
I have tons of respect for blackout and the rest of u guys sorting this but you're trying to fix something that isn't broken.

Could things have been done differently such as including the guild leaders? Yes, it was a very reasonable thing to do. However, no one is perfect. I don't blame them for being frustrated as nothing was getting done in most of the meetings that we had previously so the core three deemed we were behind schedule and needed to get our shit together, which was very true. So that can explain why they cranked out this thread pretty quickly and some issues went over looked because the three of them have their hands full.

A few of them are responding differently to criticism, but at the end of the day these guys mean well and have the best interest of the bracket in mind if it wasn't already obvious given how many hours they have put into the TC already. I think they have heard everyone's opinion on these matters and are honestly listening to everyone's feedback.

Could some of these issues been avoided? Yes, for sure there's no denying that some of the guilds leaders could have picked up on a few of these issues that were raised, but at the end of the day we're still able to give out our feedback to them on everything. Maybe going forward they can include a representative from every team on future meetings (if they are needed)? I don't think that's unreasonable as it won't be adding 10 people to the meetings, only a few unlike previous meetings which had 15+ people. If we really care about this niche community that we have then we should stick together and work through these fixable issues so that we can continue to have games pop every day.

I wish we could convert these 17 pages of discussion and turn that passion into improving pugs during the week nights by switching over to the faction in need of help, usually alliance, because its clear that the community cares dearly based on how fast this thread blew up.
