Could things have been done differently such as including the guild leaders? Yes, it was a very reasonable thing to do. However, no one is perfect. I don't blame them for being frustrated as nothing was getting done in most of the meetings that we had previously so the core three deemed we were behind schedule and needed to get our shit together, which was very true. So that can explain why they cranked out this thread pretty quickly and some issues went over looked because the three of them have their hands full.
A few of them are responding differently to criticism, but at the end of the day these guys mean well and have the best interest of the bracket in mind if it wasn't already obvious given how many hours they have put into the TC already. I think they have heard everyone's opinion on these matters and are honestly listening to everyone's feedback.
Could some of these issues been avoided? Yes, for sure there's no denying that some of the guilds leaders could have picked up on a few of these issues that were raised, but at the end of the day we're still able to give out our feedback to them on everything. Maybe going forward they can include a representative from every team on future meetings (if they are needed)? I don't think that's unreasonable as it won't be adding 10 people to the meetings, only a few unlike previous meetings which had 15+ people. If we really care about this niche community that we have then we should stick together and work through these fixable issues so that we can continue to have games pop every day.
I wish we could convert these 17 pages of discussion and turn that passion into improving pugs during the week nights by switching over to the faction in need of help, usually alliance, because its clear that the community cares dearly based on how fast this thread blew up.
