I remember logging in on Purged (Shaman) account, and saw that new feature.

One simple question: How come the activity is so low, if cross-realms queue is possible? Or is it the quality of the bgs that makes it questionable to survive?

19s is actually a pretty solid bracket I think. Activity is pretty consistent, thought lately has been kinda sketchy. Competition is solid too, and despite the occasional ungeared 900hp goon or soured, grizzled veteran who can't do anything but rage needlessly before AFK'ing, games are pretty fun. Still much better than 90 pvp, and no other worthwhile brackets really exist other than 24s, but everyone knows 24s is mostly a farm fest.

It's those players that make this bracket shit. It has the potential to be a solid bracket (as does ANY bracket), but it gets held back by the same pretentious assholes who make threads like this to ensure they have people to farm when it comes time to queue for the gulch.

For this bracket to get good again, those kinds of players have to leave.

29s don't get BG pops, and haven't gotten them since the very beginning of patch 5.0.

However, we get together and play wargames at least 2-3 times a week. Sundays, we even do WSG wargames.

The difference? We don't let people like you play, and as a result, our games are fun, fair, and as balanced as they can be.

Would I like to see the 19 bracket go that route?

I think you misunderstood me. We play wargames 2-3 nitghts a week, often for hours on end. Sundays (every Sunday, not just once a month), we do wargames and typically have enough to do 5v5, 6v6, or even 7v7 WSG BGs.

Lately, we've even seen enough people come and play to fill a WSG.

I'd much rather have this sort of bracket activity than the kind you have right now in 19s.

You know why?

Chances are, you're so clueless you actually think that way.

The people you played with that one time don't come play with us for a couple reasons:

1. They just want to show up and faceroll with whatever mongoloid comp they can put together.

2. They stop playing as soon as they lose.

We have no interest in playing with those types of people, and thus, don't play with them.

It seems to me you're the one with the issue.

I have 19s, I play 19s, and I would love to participate in higher quality games. That most certainly cannot happen without the 19 bracket taking a page from 29s and working to weed out the people causing the game quality to be so low in the first place.

IE, wargames.

How does having 19s and playing them contradict a statement declaring the quality of games to be poor? Also, my question was rhetorical and directed at the OP, not meant to be taken as 'I don't play 19s because I have self respect.'

Most of the time, I'd rather play a different bracket (because games tend to be terrible, not because I don't like my 19s). On occasion, I queue up for 19s on the off chance that I catch the elusive rare good game.

98% of GF gear has been replaced by new dungeon/quest rewards that have much better secondary stat itemization. The few exceptions are Skullbreaker, Deadman's Hand, and Nailspitter. Coincidentally, most of the active players we play with don't have Skullbreaker or Nailspitter on their toons, or don't play with them. Deadman's hand isn't game breaking all by itself, and many players we've recruited have toons that do well without it.

Class balance is a much bigger deal than GF gear ever has been.
