Added a new one, watch out:
- When you do sub, make sure you park your toon by the xp eliminator guy. Some people are "1" xp from 11 on PTR, just discovering a new area can ding you.

I have a question about the upcoming expansion which may help others.
For no good reason other than it gives me options, I've been saving several containers on my Level 20 veteran Resto Druid until Shadowlands goes live.
My question is, should I open them now or after Shadowlands?
Here's what I've got:
Sealed Darkmoon Crate - 65
Satchel of Helpful Goods - 64
Bag of Shiny Things - 4
Iron Bound Trunk - 4
Sealed Crate - 1
Any advice gratefully received.

copy your toon to the ptr and open them there. thatll tell you what you need to know.

DMF is up.
On PTR I was able to get trash to drop from Blight Boar Death Metal knight. Though it didnt drop, I expect that Necromedes as well as the epic helms should be lootable and scale for a lv 10. I will try to get one of those to drop to confirm.

What can true F2P do in SL... if we can't afford the gem gear because of the gold cap that seems like a flat out kill shot to f2p... at least now its just some random enchants and skill can overcome that, but 18x+5 int gems... seems like straight nerd cheese.
Are there any options to F2P to combat that kind of gear gap.

There are pieces of gear from dungeons that have sockets as well.

That gear will get fixed pretty quick. Usually some things slip through at Patch time, but some of the gear we can get is so broken it’ll only be a matter of time before it’s fixed.

You can get... I think its like 16 slots on F2P? Maybe 18 for some classes? just with dungeon gear. And then the 5/5 gems are purchased for marks. So assuming they slap a level requirement on G'eras gear and the black empire pieces, F2P and Vet gear difference will probably be even closer than it currently is. It'll be enchants that separate them *ASSUMING!* profs still work like they do currently. Theres an outside chance that pure f2p may even get things like ele force and stats to chest.

Interesting idea. I noticed that in PTR character selection screen you can see which of your characters have mail, wondering if there might ever be an option included later to "delete" or "return to sender". Right now you cant do anything and it doesn't flag mail from postmaster which is where our problems arise
