Yup. Its been posted before, but the video shows the exact jump (relevant part at 9:25). Basically clear to the mobs on your 19/20, kill 1, jump on the log to reset them, and repeat.

I'll mention the item im currently farming, http://www.wowhead.com/item=17922/lionfur-armor, no clue how it scales. It was a 30% droprate off "the rake" in mulgore. Now that his loot table changed its probably closer to 1%. The green items he drops scale up to a max of ilvl19 req16 ,so if it ever drops ill update

I'm not sure what the chances of this are, unless there is limited loot drops from https://www.wowhead.com/npc=1552/scale-belly, but I've killed him about 6 times. I didn't record all the items, but now I notice I had 2 x https://www.wowhead.com/item=7525/gossamer-bracers and 2 x https://www.wowhead.com/item=10087/gothic-plate-gauntlets. Just seems like kind of a freaky occurance. Maybe for 20's his loot table is limited?
Can we even get https://www.wowhead.com/item=1604/chromatic-sword at 20?

guessing it can drop but it shouldnt scale to 20.

How do you know its max scale? I tried Dr. Whitherlimb in Ghostlands but the greens scaled to level 13 and no higher.

In some zones, when you use a max level toon to farm, items only scale up to lvl16 required.

I don’t believe so. I think it scales down to req lvl 26 min. Well, all the rares in STV seem to scale down to min req lvl 26.
