Separate f2p/veteran forums discussion

Can I get people's opinions on whether they'd like to see this subforum split into a f2p forum and a veteran/p2p forum?

Wait so the f2ps will get their own forum and p2p and veterans will be together??

Or in simple terms 29s will be with Vets in their own forum and F2ps will be in their own forum?

If thats the case, I have to say no

Veteran is still considered f2p in my POV
 
I think a split would be a good idea if we get our own. Don't want to see Vets / P2P 20s in with 29s. Because regardless of what people like to think, there is a huge different in Vet / P2P 20s and 29s.

f2ps would get their own forum, veterans and p2p level 20s would get a combined forum for both, 29s would have their own separate forum.

Literally saw this right after mine was posted.. I think Vets / P2P 20s and F2P 20s getting split into their own forums is a great idea.
 
Yes, if veterans get their own subforum than that would be ok with me

for my selfish reason, I don't want veterans being mixed up with 29s
 
I don't even see the point of this. What is it going to achieve?
Also, may be an inappropriate place to ask this, but the Bracket Manager, what's this person's role? It's just on TI or is this individual going to try achieve something in-game?

My first thought when I saw this thread was...
Oh Lawd, not again..
We have been living in harmony for almost a year now. That is 25% as long as the Starter accounts have been active. Many of us already have to look through three forums (19, 20, 20-29) to find relevant information. Now what you are suggesting is 33% more hunting.
We had this battle before. Three times if I am not mistaken. Let it die a peaceful death.

split it, vets are very diferent from f2ps and i dont think f2ps were checking vet threads anyway, so having their own section would be best.

still the same amount of threads u have to click/read , if u got time to check all these 3forums then u also have time to do 2clicks to change section.

I agree with this, I like it as it is. The tags do a good job of separating the two when it's necessary.
 
Yeah, splitting at this point may not really accomplish anything. At first i was very strongly on the side of complete splitting because i wanted to ensure the f2p community stayed active and as large as it once was. But now that many, many f2ps have went vet and adhear to p2p gear / chants, i feel like a f2p forum on its own may succumb to inactivity. Tags are currently working fine, and the morals / arguments have calmed down a lot.
 
Starters and Vets have much in common. I play both and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Even though they aren't always used perfectly, the tags work well. The biggest disparity is between Starters/Vets and 29's, where there is an altogether different approach to the bracket. As the current Level 20 includes Starters/Vets and the 20-29 bracket implies 29's with possibly useful info for all, I think the current divisions are fine as is. Starters and Vets have a respect for each other that just won't exist between them and 29's.

As long as we aren't paired with 29s, sure. Otherwise no.

Not really. F2Ps don't want to share forums with vets, we don't want to see a bunch of unrelated things to us like the Q&As and gearing. We really should have a separate forum. The only people that seem to not want to separate are some vet players.
