Is it possible for my level 20 F2P account on an Oceanic server (Khaz'goroth) to be transferred to an American server (Aerie Peak, etc)?

If not possible as F2P, can I pay membership for just a month, transfer the account, then leave it as a veteran at level 20 on the server I desired?

If so, Then it would be much easier to form communities and join certain servers that thrive on F2P activity.

Also if I do change servers, are any Items/things lost in the process?

FYI, there are already some dandy jumps to be made on the Horde side of the new GY fence line. I cannot vouch for the Alliance side yet.
