29 rogues have gouge (incap) Sprint (movement increase) other than that they are the same

How is Aerie Peak Horde going these days? I might make another alt on there if its active.

Of course things will never be as active as cata/early-mop, but ap is still fairly active. There's also an active vet guild called <CRIT OR GTFO>.

This might have something to do with scaling, but if you're on a regular subscribed account, is there any advantage to staying at 20 instead of 29? Don't enchants and heirlooms scale linearly? And can't you get any item at level 29 that you could get at 20?

I see why F2P accounts are 20, but I'm not seeing why a regular account would. I must be missing something.

Once your subscription runs out, you can still play the 20, with whatever items it has -- mainly, enchants and neck/head heirlooms.

How is pvp in the 20-29 lately?

From my limited, anecdotal experience today (I played sporadically in Cataclysm/MOP):

Both stealth classes are FOTM, which can annoy. Paladins can DS to avoid the ambush damage, but without that it's KO material.

Pure trials don't seem to be especially viable, but the new scaling in BGs makes veteranship highly appealing. I would spend the $10.

Going anywhere alone will get you killed. Partly, this seems to be because the undergeared free masses have vanished -- almost everyone is a twink.

Queue times have been half hour+ on Horde.

Some abilities have been pushed to higher level unlocks, which could result in a spare-feeling rotation.

One of 20-24's pleasures was, as a twink 20, was that you could fight multiple undergeared 20s, while 24s could be overcome through skill or teamwork. (For 24s the pleasure was obviously ganking.) Much of that variety seems to have been lost, so I'd just subscribe and play a bracket with more options. And endgame.

QUESTION (Aerie Peak): Can anyone hook me up with a summons to Pandaria? I'm looking to start championing the Sunreavers.

Also, are there any rep grinds going on?

I see. But is that the only advantage? Or is there a PvP advantage to staying at 20 versus 29?

As you can see, those advantages alone are not insignificant.

Assuming you meant sunreaver onslaught, this will take you approx 64 weeks to complete, just a heads up

8 minute RFC + 2-4 minutes to log on/off...aaand you're right, 11-12 hours is a pretty stupid price for a slightly more privileged view of a pretty design, it's covetous, useless, basal, and yet my society mechanism pleads that it will make me exclusive. If you want to enable me you can at least bring me to the Timeless Isle so it's at least possible.

It was previously much easier to obtain, and a few lucky individuals were able to obtain it, but now the grind takes forever. If you feel the need to grind this out for over a year, more power to you, I was just giving you a heads up to the minimum time investment it will take to get the tabard.

I understand it as one dungeon a week, which is a pretty small pill. The end commitment would be ~10 hours, running RFC. That's like a book well read, two badly read, or a sizable chunk of creative work. Tabard is an inferior prize. But, there is sometimes genuine value in filler/decompress actions.

Anyway, I am still keen for a summon to Pandaria, to see the sights if nothing else, and if anyone on AP can offer this, I'd be grateful.

But you won't get RFC because you have to run random dungeon which means you will get fking wailing caverns all the god damn time .
