Questions & Answers

I have a question for all the fellow rogues out there.

As we all know, Assassination Rogues have poison proc advantages compared to other specs.

Do these poison proc advantages also include weapons with in-built poison such as:

- Serpent's Kiss - Item - World of Warcraft
- Venom Web Fang - Item - World of Warcraft
- Bite of Serra'kis - Item - World of Warcraft
- Blackfathom Mace - Item - World of Warcraft

These poison procs seem low, but in BG's can with scaling and constant re-application add up to a viable amount of damage if I am not mistaken (espec with slice and dice/evenom).

Also if this is true, does (in-built weapon) poison applied twice to the target, tick a whole duration of poison phase damage? or just refreshes the current duration of the poison?

Any assasination rogues out there let me know.

Thankyou <3.

Then get linked.

That isn't a helpful answer. You still have to know how to do the achievement in question to get the mount. Myself, I have 1/2 of the vampire achievement left to finish to get the mount, and intend on doing it during my 10 day game time, but I don't remember how to do it because I was just standing where people told me to stand at the time I did the first half. So please make a useful answer or do not respond. This is the Questions and Answers thread, not the Questions and Snark thread.

He did answer tho.. lenny quoted him with the answer he was looking for, then commented about the second part (achievement hunting). Then Adal proceeded to give another answer on the quickest, easiet way to do that achievement, even in ur own post u said u were gonna use ur 10 day gametime on a linked p2p... He may have been a little "snarky" since he used only a few words and expected the person asking the question to be able to use youtube on their own without a link, but he gave all the info lenny needs. If u are gonna judge something do it from both sides, or atleast not one ur basing ur judgement on past experiences. That would make u just as bad as the snarky, off topic troll

No. On a Question and Answer thread, "just youtube it" is not a sufficient answer. It's a dismissive non-answer. This is Twink INFO, that answer does not contain any info.

Guys, how do i do an archievement in ICC as a f2p, it says i have to be a vampire etc, but i have no idea how it works, my 90-100 fiends got it but i didnt...?
How so ?

Assume you mean Once Bitten, Twice Shy? It will take at least two kills. Once as a vampire, once without being bitten. To be a vampire, she must bite you, but that might also end up with you being dead and it looks like you don't get the achievement if you die. (Maybe brez can fix it?)

This, on the other hand, contains info.

...the youtube video explaining how to do said achievement may and probably is much more helpful and will lead to more understanding of how to succeed in the achievement. Adal answered back to lenny's question almost immediately with an answer. Yes, it was not spoon fed to him, he had to go to youtube and type in the achievement, then watch the video. Is it a problem for the person asking the question to put in some effort? Things like achievements, hard ones at that, cannot be explained thru a few words, but with video and sound it becomes much easier to convey. The answer adal gave, did indeed contain info. Seeing lenny attempted the achievement from what he wrote, but it did not work, then going to a huge source of info such as youtube (where ppl have tutorials for everything including how to lick ur elbow) is great advice. Lenny certiantly hadn't thought of that, because he wouldve just done it. Doing things, yes, u must put in some effort sometimes to get the best asnwer

Right, from this point forward, all questions asked in this thread should be answered with "Just Google it."

That's going to do wonders for our image as a helpful community.

Are u trolling me? u are generalizing a statement i made about this very specific reference. Many answers can be found online, without the need of this thread, while there are just as many that require attention as a whole community on this thread. You cannot argue the fact that adal's answer was just as sufficient, if lenny follows adal's advice then he will find a video on how to do the achievement, a video being the best possible example besides having someone that knows how to do it with u, talking to u, doing the achievement in game. Must adal do the work for lenny, find the video and then write an explanation on ti. Not everyone has such generous time, or maybe its just their choice not to use their time doing something every person asking that question can do in the same period of time. He is being helpful, very helpful. Just because of his short answers and expectations of the ppl asking the question to do work, u shun him out.

Even if LennywBoreanTundra was able to do all the achievements required as an F2P, don't you have to be level 70 to learn the mount?

No, but nor must he answer a question on Questions and Answers without putting in any effort to offer any information. My reply was very to the point: if simply saying "Google it" or "Youtube it" qualifies as (in your words) "being helpful, very helpful" then these are dark times indeed. Hell, if he had even posted a link to a YouTube video on the topic that would have been helpful. But seriously, how can you possibly claim that merely saying "Youtube it" is being helpful? Is this how we are to make TI a place that people come to for information? Is this how we make servers like Aerie Peak great again, by answering all questions with "look it up" rather than actually helping? Seriously, for anyone who thinks that just saying "go look it up" is being helpful, maybe those people shouldn't be answering questions. And for the record, I don't think Adal could say in honesty that he was trying to be actually helpful.

This is quite enough of this sidebar conversation now. If you want to continue coming to Adal's defense, please PM me.

Why is it that once again u apply the answer adal gave to lenny about this specific reference to every question ever to be asked? Adal was being helpful in he way he could be. He responded to lenny within a minute of lenny asking, who could ask for a more timely response. I already said that many questions must be talked about and answered communily, this one not needing to be one to accomplish lenny's goal. A youtube video being an amazing source of assistance. I'm all for talking about it on ti and getting as many views on it as possible, but why bash adal's answer when it is easily enough to solve lenny's problem.

Kincaide I remember just a few weeks ago you were defending Adal the same way Albino is right now. Learn to fight your battles and who to fight your battles for.

I appreciate the feedback, but let me be clear: I never fight for people, ever. I only fight for issues. Adal is okay in my book; this isn't about him per se. He does, like some people, make unhelpful posts some of the time. I don't have a problem with Adal. I have a problem with unhelpful/unconstructive posts. Everyone has good and bad days, maybe this was a bad one for Adal. My goal though is just to keep the thread constructive by calling out unhelpful responses--whoever makes them.
