Updated: Requesting funding for a boomkin, not a BM.
Horde or Alliance? Alliance seems to need more competitive players at the moment, but I'll be making a horde toon soon enough.
What class and spec would you like to receive funding on and why? I'm currently in the process of gearing out a boomkin because I feel the Alliance would benefit more from classes that aren't already well represented in the bracket, i.e Hunters, rogues as well as a class that can help fight for presence in mid.
What do you need? (Gold / Gear / Guild) I've joined <Waka Flocka Seagulls> so ideally I would just be looking for some of the more hard to get items.
Have you played in a twink bracket before? Yes, I've played on my hunter since vanilla on US-Kargath.
Why do you need funding? My usual strategy of funding twinks consisted of moving to a low pop server where I would be able to purchase twink items at a low price due to scarce demand. To do this I would sell off rare pets that I've gathered over the years but alas, I've overextended and am running out. Coupled together with the higher than average prices for gear and lower selling price of pets on a high pop server, I find myself having difficulty selling some of my more worthwhile pets for a decent price.
How can our funding help your twinking experience? Your assistance will greatly improve my ability to perform well in the bracket, as an undergeared toon isn't beneficial in the slightest.
How do you play your class? I play or at least will play, the way it was meant to be played, as a an objectively tuned class with the best mobility and FC capabilities in the bracket.
How do you contribute to your team? My contributions consist of an objective playstyle, consistent performance and a generally positive atmosphere. I'm mainly doing this to make friends while doing something I enjoy.
Are you interested in competitive PvP? If so, what qualifies you? I will admit that I don't have much to show for in terms of personal achievement in the PvP scene, but I feel I can use my game knowledge and steep learning curve that I've gained over the years to give myself a competitive edge. After being back for about a month now, I have a much deeper understanding of the current meta and how class comp usually decides a match.
What sparked your interest in becoming a member of the 19 twink community? Originally, I started years ago due to some influences from in-game friends who chose to play the game in this way (twinking).
How did you find out about / Who referred you to this thread? The great HB.
Have you added your battletag and armory links to the twink network thread? Already done.
Can you provide us with a screenshot of your UI? Absolutely, Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet.
What do you have to offer to the 19s twink community? To the 19 twink community, I offer not just another average player, but one will at least be remembered at the end of a match. I'll offer the thrill that I used to get when I would see the names of players who I considered were skilled.
Do you have any friends or guildmates in the 19s community we should know about? I joined <Waka Flocka Seagulls> and although I haven't had the pleasure of playing a game with them yet, I may have played with a few of their members on my hunter in the past few weeks. Just today I had the pleasure of meeting Fiction who offered me advice on a strategy that I didn't know about. I also recently chatted with Alexandriya about a few BM things, mainly min-max related stuff which I found helpful.
Is there anything else we should know about you? I'm soon going to be a college graduate in Finance and as finals are coming to a close, will have more time to play and delve into the 19s community.
Are you interested in receiving class coaching for your new 19? Absolutely, I believe more important than any single piece of gear is the knowledge of the class you play and your objective role in the team. Although I'm applying for my boomkin, I would also like to receive coaching on my hunter as well, if possible.
Do you have any questions for us? I have a bunch since I'm still rusty but overall my most important questions boil down to these:
What do you find to be the most important aspect of a player?
What qualities do you consider to be "good"? "Bad"?
Lastly, a lot of PvP communities I've been apart of are or are known to be "toxic", having only been playing for the past two weeks, I haven't been able to gauge it fully yet but, what do you think of the community?
