Possible drops from rares

No. At least - not for what this thread is looking at. We still need to see what drops, but...

Items that drop from a single zone (shadowfang) or NPC (talon of vultros) are scaled exactly to the level. So these will all scale to 19 if killed on a 19.

For items that are world drops, those scale approximately to a few levels under the person who loots it. But its hardly exact. We don't know yet if these are upgradable.

Uh, kind of

So unique rares (pacifier, for instance) will be scaled properly to your level. Random suffix greens could be all over the place. I've gotten level ranges from 16 to 22 on my 20.

I don't know what scaling rules affect unique greens though. I would *assume* they act like unique rares but I suppose we'll find out

They work the same - feathered headdress has been obtained that way for a while.

So just to clearify, rares that drop uncommon and rares specific to their loot table, can be farmed on 19, and will be 19?
 
I will be leveling toons from 62-90, so I will see PLENTY of rare spawns, I will 100% be reporting what I find :) at some point I will farm rare spawns as well. I'm super interested in this, i can't wait to see what happens :)
 
Assuming this patch didn't change how things scale and what things scale, we've got some threads running around in the f2p forum with pretty detailed digs into it.

I'll see if I can find and boost then when I get home

Somone posted a foreman's gloves epic roll in this thread: https://xpoff.com/threads/official-epic-upgrade-bragging-thread-warning-jealousy-salt.83861/page-2 so you can add foremans drops to the list :eek: opens up for other possibility aswell? thinking deadmines cleaver, leggins of the fang ect items that drop from one specific group/ 1mob name

Thats drom the dungeon quest, not a drop. Haven't seen a dungeon drop upgrade.

Side note...these upgrades may oust the fang/slitherscale set for max int. You'll probably give up a lot of stam/secondaries to do so, but it may be an option.
