Mount for 19 and lesser characters

Collecting all heirloom items awards a special mount usable by level 1 characters.

From the PTR patch notes that came out today. Another bit of info that i think people forgot when seeing the heirloom necks

Wont be available to F2P because the darkmoon faire doesnt have every heirlooms, but we dont know how the heirloom tab work with f2p yet. Maybe you could pay 1 month, farm gold for every heirloom, then unsub and keep the mount. Anyway, still usefull for 19 twinks

If it did I think that would top the list of most cruel move Blizzard has ever pulled... and they've done some pretty cruel things...

Some of the drop rates for those were just abysmal at best...

I can't imagine anyone bothered to farm all of them.

Its's a chauffeured Mechano-Hog / Mech Chopper, on the PTR you can see them in mount collection, other mounts say requires apprentice riding, this one just says you haven't collected it.

I can't think of any reason why you couldn't, but, maybe they will take into consideration how very unbalancing it would be to have a few people with mounts and most people without mounts.

On a lighter note, you can also mount up on a sea turtle from level 1. For whatever that's worth.

Does this mount move at 60 percent speed or is like the turtle mount?

I'm expecting it to be less than 60% but more than zero, probably something like 40-50% speed

While I have batshit of an idea, my guess is that since it's a heirloom mount, it would work like other heirlooms - that being, scaling with your riding level.

Pre20/apprentice riding --> no movement speed bonus.
