Paid Character services on a F2P very possible.

I don't even F2P, I am P2P I just came up with this for F2Ps, this isnt really people being cheap as they have to pay for the character service they want anyway
 
In my opinion, it's more of an idea to "deck" out my f2p account so that I when I do eventually stop paying for my account, I can always come back to said f2p account and know that it's one of a kind.

People need to chill, it has a lot of potential for vanity purposes as well as achievements. We don't need to be negative nancy at every exploit that shows up.
 
Just to let people know not to worry about their accounts being locked. (note LOCKED, not Banned or Suspended)

I had applied a code to my account in hope of getting the name changed
However, I didn't get round to doing it, therefore the only thing that I had done was apply a key to my account.
The account was "locked" this morning when I logged on to it.

After a short conversation on live chat with a very helpful GM, the lock was lifted from my account and I'm online playing again now.
I used a similar reason to a previous post - that I hadn't purchased the keys.
The GM said that since I wasn't the one who purchased the keys he could not discuss it further with me and the lock was removed.

This isn't to argue or condone that any previous posts are right or wrong. I was going to do something simple as a name change which the last time I checked isn't what you would call game breaking. But to put peoples minds at ease should they choose to or not, the accounts do not get "Banned" or "Suspended" but they will probably lock said account until you contact blizzard to remove it.

Just tested this: If you have DKs enabled on the account you do this exploit on, you can make yourself a DK and buy all the camel and talbuk mounts. Remember to delete your DK before you log off though.

Edit: Also your potential slots increase by 156! I dropped about 20k gold and bought 11 royal satchels (26 slots each). That is more than double the amount of slots currently available to F2Ps. It's a no-brainer but tradeable mounts also become available when you do this.

This also might work paying with a paypal account with no money in it, but im pretty sure they would lock your account

you would have to speak to a gm after asking to downgrade your account, saying you will pay later or something

Quick note: Not only does this work with battlechest codes, this also works with full-game codes. You can theoretically go to pandaria in the 72 hours, level to 90 and do a whole bunch of other crazy stuff. Technically all mounts, pets and achievements are now available to F2Ps.

Don't be retarded just leave it, dont ticket saying u want access to it when you do stupid stuff like that Blizzard are going to fix the exploit before I have even made my F2P

I made a monk yesterday - it was going to be my claim to fame. "Worlds First f2p monk".

Unfortunately, now that i have access to my f2p account again the monk character is locked until you purchase MoP again.

Unfortunate. but there's absolutely no way of getting an f2p monk to work.

That's very strange. Hopefully mine doesn't stop working :eek: On a separate note, being able to go to pandaria enables a lot of cool drops from rares that transform you.
