WoW dying isn't due to twinks lmfao. It's dying because Blizzard fucking sucks and is turning WoW into a casual's game, pandering to mediocrity. Like my fucking endgame toon has over heroic ilvl just from world quests and a few rated pvp drops.

WoW is dying because they are removing choice, turning every system in to a game of chance and because they keep removing things from the game.

Last time this happened, battlegroups were a thing and bugged queues caused major setbacks down the line. We should be in a better spot this time around, this is a great opportunity

There have been a lot of twinks playing - if people queue up instead of writing posts about quitting, games will pop. Some brackets will die, but they don't all have to.

F2Ps gameplay is not ruined at all , even with locked-up WSG and AB. I had 6-7 wins in a row in EoTS today and the queue times are not that bad - 15ish minutes.

Already geared Veterans with BfA are the winners! They dont have to pay-to-play and have the best gear in their bracket + all available BGs at 20-29 lvl.

PS: Hey, 29s... Are you still going to "Pay to Play" , since now you are not able to "Pay to Win" (Pay to Rape innocent ungeared levelers) anymore?

I really don't see your reasoning. Most twink brackets will die because of this.

Now I'm a huge supporter of 19s, 29s and such having competitive war games. But for people to think that it's only possible for that to happen when xpoff is separated is completely delusional. And I personally don't see hype for 19s, 29s, etc coming back to what it was in WoD. Although I'd support it if it did.

Merged brackets gave people something to do in their spare time. And if you think twink brackets were the only things unbalanced, please tell me how this isn't. And this is endgame that everyone praised back in wrath.

90% of the players from mop/wod quit in legion, sure legion/bfa brought a ridiculous amount of players to the bracket but they had 0 interest in playing real games, just logging in to kill lvl 12 rogues with 400hp.

as soon as buns opened his stream yesterday i lost count of the amount of old players who hopped in and got hyped for separation, im sure there's a huge number who are unaware currently too

bracket will be fine, not legion/bfa queue times by any means but it'll get pops for sure

still too early days to know how long it'll last tho

I remember the first time around they did this, it was a dark time. Some of the best games I had in 19’s were during the MoP yrs when activity had returned, but how long did that take!

Higher lvl brackets will be hurt the most by this. Twinking will continue in one form or another, but im sure im not the only one who feels this way when I say “I’m getting too old for this shit”....

Fairly sure you haven't played in the same game as me since I hit puberty tbh, but that's all good.

I've listed my reasons on why I believe it to be a good thing. I remember being devastated when XP lock first happened and they split us, I reacted like everyone is here, but then it lead to some of the best times I've had in WoW.

If you read those reasons you'd see that it actually goes on about people other than myself believe it or not, while still incorporating my personal experiences. Experiences of which I believe to be extremely relevant based on this thread being like looking back at myself when I too thought twinking died when the XP lock was implemented.

But...there is one problem... At least 98% of 29s twinks dont want to play against other 29s twinks. They were active cuz they enjoyed to slay clueless ungeared levelers in big premade packs. 29 premade vs 29 premade wont be so fun.
