[MOP] Neon's Updated Warrior Guide

Re: Neon's Updated Warrior Guide

/ cast Shield slam (or Mortal Strike)
/startattack
hitting your bind for either of these abilities automatically starts your attack on your selected target, whether or not you are in range. irrelevant macro (don't take offense, just pointing it out)

Re: Neon's Updated Warrior Guide

not particularly in depth
taunt can also be used on pets/guardians to take aggro off teammates
slam is on the GCD and cannot be used as quickly as heroic strike when bursting
i would not advise spreading ms. instead keep it on (an) important target(s), particularly healers or enemies being focused
personally i find the straight wowhead links a bit unsightly

This guide is outdated, and the BiS gear is wrong. I am too lazy to update it atm. Which might make the title seem a bit ironic.

We're trying to clear out some of the older guides. The guide doesn't look completely out-dated, considering there's not been too many changes through MoP.

I had a quick look at the gear and it didn't look starkly incorrect and everyone has there own opinion of BiS gear (which will always be debatable). But please fix the obvious stuff like Warbringer's description! It's only 2 lines long!

Re: Neon's Updated Warrior Guide

This guide has been a great help for gearing over the last year or so. I basically went with the Arms pieces, but Prot specced. Made for nice Shield Slams.

How do you guys like my Prot Warrior? I stacked strength and crit. I really like stacking Strength better to get to that top end 999 Shied Slam Damage. My highest Shield Slam crit so far is 1.1 K (even had the BOA sword on at the time).

I have the BOA parry sword, but prefer the one I have equipped. I don't like the BOA stuff for Prot Damage.

Neon I really think worgen is BiS race for the alliance. 1% crit + mobility + nature and shadow resist + much higher base strength than nelf. Using darkflight and swiftness pots, one will easily be able to keep up with a running druid.

I made this guide when I was a noob and its outdated. Too lazy to rewrite the whole guide.

Anybody know anything about warriors in WoD? Is fury viable again etc?

From my experience as a warrior, thunderclap becomes a slow, which is quite good. Their damage (as arms) is also not bad. However, they have non-existent survivability, which makes them very vulnerable in 1v1 against classes that can heal.

Arms is a juggernaut, defensive stance is still a monster. With an interrupt you've got a chance 1v1 vs heals but that's not really why we roll warrior is it? Warrior applies tons of pressure with suitable support; arenas, efc, team fights you name it. Forget the duels, kill em all!

Arms is just too good to ignore.

damn right it is i loved it since cata and havent looked back since
who can ignore 2.2k execute crits against 29s
