Ghostcrawler acknowledged himself that even snd and haste will both effect rppms
 
can someone please just get bis so i can copy someones gear??
 
Caster's BiS for legs is Sapphire Spellthread (+35 SP, +22 Stamina).

Rare shoulder inscriptions from Scryer and Aldor work and scale pretty good (not as good as inscription shoulder enchants though). The BoA shoulder enchants from WotLK work as well.
 
Glove Reinforcement ( 24 stamina gloves ) can be put on Herbalist gloves if you enchant them on your main then send to your lvl 1, probbly work for other BoE gloves also.
 
the WOTLK Hodir faction shoulder enchants are decent

greater inscription of the storm = 9sp 6crit
" " axe = 15ap 6crit
" "pinnacle = 8 dodge 8 stam

scryer blue ones are good too, they say they req level 70, but they do work on BOAs. i had these on my BOAs prior to the patch and they were red ans stated a req. they are now green and no longer say they req level-70

greater inscription of the orb = 11crit 9sp
" "blade = 11crit 15ap
" " oracle = 12 spirit 8int
" " knight = 11 parry 8 dodge

And guys if you're looking for a cookie cutter 5.4 rogue guide this won't help you. Do what you want to do and gear how you want to gear and play rogue the way you want to. As of right now there isn't a decided "bis" set so mess around and explore while you can. Think for yourselves for once lol you'll have more fun and you may come across ideas others haven't tried.
 
thanks for compiling this. i know a lot of ppl are looking for any and all info to help figure out their sets for 5.4

yea some of us dont have the gold to get a wide range of chants so i just wanna get a staple sort of set

This is the kind of thinking I like. I don't really think there will be a general consensus for what's BiS for certain classes/talents. It will be a more "whatever suits your playstyle" kinda of thing.

Dude there is a "BIS" set... If we listen to you, when you say that everybody will swap Demonslayer to hit Imp pet just to prevent an Imp dispell or 100 extra damage...
