Mists of Pandaria is the next WoW Expansion.

LMFAO @ this expansion. LOL!!!!

I'm still waiting for Blizzard to say this is a joke.

HAHAHAHAHA

Is ANYONE taking this expansion announcement seriously?? Really? With all the pandas dancing in the promo video, how do you not stop from just rolling on the floor with laughter? HAHAHA

LOL, I'm still trying to catch my breath right now after watching that. Phew. Well Blizz certainly made my day a whole lot brighter...I definitely needed a laugh.

SW:TOR or bust my friends. And that is the word.

All the changes in this expansion read like the stupidest dregs of the old suggestions forum. I really am at a loss for words regarding this.

Well I have read it too and I am fairly speechless like the rest of you.

The only plus point I can think of is I actually like the Chinese style vista and think that will be cool. Also we are yet to see how this new Monk class will turn out. But Panda's and Pokemon rolled into a story of nothingness, what the hell?

I hope they take on board what people are saying and mix it up a bit and maybe we have not heard the full story yet. How can anyone take this game seriously after this bombshell??
<

all this hate over a game, seriously?

herpa aderp derp, all i'm hearing is people screaming ITS NOT DARK GRIM LORE DEEP ANYMORE, this game isfor casuals, not for hardcore raiders/pvpers, and the game has never followed lore from the get go.

What's even more annoying is you crying about other people crying in every thread. :3

Lol

Taking a second glance at the patch notes left me with this impression:

Blizzard thinks that less is better. Mainly being that they are making this game almost as accessible as possible to the average casual gamer. Less talents, lack of now relics, wands becoming MH items, no ranged weapons, no melee weapons for hunters, etc etc. Blizzard can say that they are making things like the talent tree "less cookie cutter", but in my opinion, that's hogwash. There's been less and less and less since the transition from Wrath to Cata, and now there's even less. I highly DOUBT that there isn't going to be a straight cookie cutter spec for PvE. You might be able to get creative for PvP, but again, someone will find a formula that works the best, and everyone will flock to it.

I kinda enjoy when the web series "The Guild" takes some super stabs at WoW and how they've progressed with Activision.

I'm just concerned about how these changes impact twinking. If shit like this continues 19s-49s will have about as many abilitys/playstyle options as lvl 1 twinks did in wrath. The simplification may improve endgame, but it takes a lot of the fun away from lowbie pvp.

Let's face it, Blizz has been dumbing down the game since Vanilla.

Remember when:

- Campfire took tinder, flint and wood

- Flight paths weren't linked

- Cooking took more than one ingredient

- Epic gear was... epic?

- Lootable mobs didn't sparkle

- You had to learn the boss abilities by trial and error

- You had to find out where the quest item/npc was by actually READING the quest and LOOKING

- Hunter pets had to be leveled, fed and kept happy or they would run away

- Hunters had ammo

- Soul shards

I could literally go on and on about how Blizzard is slowing turning WoW into pre-school game. Why not just auto-level people to 10, have them push a button that say 'DAMAGE' and then auto-level them to 90 and mail them epic gear and a free pet. For Elune's sake...

Honestly, with the whole "challenges" thing and gear scaling, I could get everything I want from this game from endgame PvE, without the gear hassle. I mean, what's the point?

Looks really cool. I'm also happy that Blizzard will introduce the Monk, as a new class; I've always been a fan of that class, especially in the Final Fantasy games.

double stats from food buff + a 3second sleep ability. = OP. rumsey would be giving your twink 30 stamina for example. this stun is more OP then silence from BE or anything as it's more useful against more classes.

Arcane torrent is better for sure and the arcane resist is way more useful especially with mages going to be on D in premades

Not really: "double stats to food buff".

So basically anyone with rumsey rum black label gets 30 stam instead of 15 stam. That seems a bit of an impact of twinking does it not?

rumsey doesnt count as a food buff

edit: food buffs replace rumsey but they will not double the stats on rumsey
