Did you have a level 49 in the party? If so, was the 49 the one who looted the body?

Don't know if they've buffed the drop rates on this stuff or if I'm just lucky, but I have the cloak on 6 of my 20-29s; 2 different cloaks on one tink, and just looted the staff on my mage.

Cloaks are a 1 in 5 chance. So they’re not that rare. I’ve even seen 2 cloaks drop in a single run but only a couple times.

Yeah I did on my Level 20. It requires 350 enchanting if I remember correctly though.

We cant get the Illusion because it comes in http://www.wowhead.com/item=117394/satchel-of-chilled-goods which is only for 110s I believe

Not just 110s. I got it on a 108 or 109, a day or so ago. Probably whatever it takes to get a purple satchel, ... 100+, or 108+ or something like that. Blizz is variable on this threshold for holiday bosses.

I was wondering if anyone got it from the chest since Wowhead says it drops out of the chest, so either they are wrong or it is a very low drop rate.

I have gotten the enchanting formula on an f2p and I am pretty sure the illusion can drop of the chest as well.

I’m convinced the drop rate is rubbish for casters that actually can use the damn staff!
I have it on my Warrior, Rogue, Pali but not on my Misty or Priest.
