if urguild can adapt and do it better, you;ll end up like tRain cOw, sitting at the top of the throne and retired.
just run 2 boomies 2 locks 2 mages war FC hpally/Discpriest/Rshaman like everyone else
will ppl be running 3 or 4 healer 10 mans?
that comp looks good, but i might consider swapping one of the locks or mages for a BM monk
imo this is best setup for premades
u got the insane spread damage as well as single target damage that boomies put out mage/locks also do very good amount of damage u also got 2 CS's and 2 polys 2 fears
not to mention 2 insta polys for when u push on efc
That's if they take the PoM over the getawayfast panic button. I would probably agree with Stealth in trying to squeeze in a BM monk. Their clash and slows can be pretty useful in both O and D.
ya canbis dropin truths like bitches
who in the right mind would want blazing speed over a insta poly on a healer when u push for kill on EFC just dont be a idiot and over extend even if u do u dont need blazing speed just blink back to group
I would.
Have you played an Arcane mage in this bracket anytime in MoP yet?
Blink isn't enough sometimes and Blazing Speed is really helpful
mabye for pugs but for premades blazing speed is useless
if you are still not in range of healers when u blink 20 yards towards your grp your doing something wrong
stack rogues and healers
The only counter that comes to my mind is to kite half them apart and chop them in base lol. Being on your side of the map uses the rez timer/map to your advantage, and helps more effectively split them up. You will also be at an advantage of having a closer GY so you get your reinforcements sooner. If you're smart you can contain valuable targets like healers and decent dps from reaching the group again, prolonging your merciless chop and perhaps putting their fc in a bad position. Additionally, having a stealthie / druid in for repick stalls games out. Sometimes their comp is just too much.
A team that is heavy on melee classes is definately disadvantaged against a ranged team, thats how it always has been. Its a hard strat to counter without a team with good healers and good coordination. Melee classes are forced to overextend, increasing the chance that they are bursted, and also putting their healer in a position to be cc'd when they overextend to heal them(that = someone dying).
If you're unfortunate enough to be a melee in the midfight, you can still be useful. Sync your stuns on overextended targets and burst(ambush!!) on a target being starsurged/bursted by your boomkin, mage, whatever(put your big damage on focus and monitor their cast bar/target, don't forget to factor in travel time for a starsurge etc.). Chop rogues in your group/peel for your healers. Yolo their healers at inconvenient times. Higher stacks you may be useful when pushing for FC, in fact you want to have a melee class just for clicks. If you do open in their group or overextend, get out when they swap to you lol(know where your healer is range wise). (You might want to stack stam, but its a personal decision). I cannot stress enough that rogues are really useful. If they can open on targets being bursted, initiate well timed, coordinated opens on an fc with stacks they can be a real benefit to a mid fight.
Seems pretty obvious to me, but maybe people dislike midfights because they can't find their niche as a melee class. Just some suggestions.
Tl;dr, comp is important. you can usually tell the winning team at the start of the game just by comp.
Definitely have to agree with ura on blazing speed. Playing with PoM in a premade is pretty useless. It's sounds easy to just go into their team and sheep healers. But really no good team will let you get that sheep off. You'll be slowed by a monk/hunt, feared by a lock, feared by psyfiend etc etc, and usually a better team will have healers way in the back. So it really isn't that easy to get a PoM sheep off. Even if you did get it off, people will have trinks on(even more since it's 2min next patch) and shams can also dispel it. Blazing speed is a great ''disengage'' for a mage. Keep in mind that it isn't on global cooldown either.
