Level 1 Raiding in 3.2

With the addition of the No Xp option I have decided to get back into WoW for this very reason, to level one PvE, the problem is I'm on US and cannot cntinue playing EU on Dunemaul like I was before with Boglund, I am going to have to get a brand new account for reasons that I am unsure if I can post on here. Anyone on US starting a level one guild? I don't know how I will fund it or how I wil get BoA items. Only time will tell.



P.s. Do you remember when I made an EU account to play with you Boglund? We met on youtube. =P

I'd be happy to help you out on US Frostmane. I'm really thinking a healer tank pally will work out the best for a level ~20 elite. But in order to do this the pally needs to be completely geared out, and I just don't feel like raising herb to 150 without a mount and getting 2 AGM. If you made one you couldn't be perfect because you couldn't get shoulders, but boa weapon wouldn't matter much because the weapon will be primarily for the enchant.



Every time I advertise in trade I get a few people interested, a guild would be easy to make I just need to get a couple people to help my warlock summon them.



edit: I don't know what the level requirement on the WG quests are, but you could always make a DK and get stonekeeper shards.

You can start getting Stone Keeper's Shards as soon as you begin doing (normal) Northrend instances. I think as soon as you have the required number, you can turn in them in, as I believe the level requirement for Wintergrasp is 70 (someone correct me if I'm wrong). This would mean you'd have to level your DK a fair amount, probably at least to 78 in order to get the required number of shards to buy something.



edit: all of the WG quests granting Stone Keeper's Shards require level 78, so fixed accordingly.



It's kind of a lot to ask guildies rerolling to "oh, just make a level 78 alt" but if you're willing to do it, more power to you.

Well I don't have any 80s on the account I have now. I have a really crappy level one twink on Malfurion US, I absolutely hate the grind to level up. I have a 65 DK on Malf and a 60 Rogue, I would be willing to transfer the DK so as to avoid some leveling, but I will want to get to 70 first. However with my absence from the game, I am not sure of the fastest path from 65 to 70. If I did come to Frostmane would you be willing to help me level up?

The point wasn't to do it with as least people as possible, and a lot of these were crap geared, in fact the shaman only had BoAs and no chants. But we were extremly many loggedo n that day, we were 8 lvl 1s ganking in westfall later that day. So we just used everyone that was online.

How about this, BOA shoulders aren't really much of a necessity anymore since the enchant no longer works, and a pure healer doesn't need boa weapon because it's just going to be used for the 22 int.



I'm not certain what the best main healer class is yet, I know paladins have the biggest and slowest heals, but shaman's quick heals may be a necessity to keep a tank alive against a level 20.



Or you could roll a rogue and go with [item]Sunstrider Axe[/item] considering it is far better than any BOA (correct?) and missing the shoulders would not be a big deal.



I don't want you to transfer a 70 just for level 1 twinking just in case it doesn't work out. When you hit 80 on your other characters you can always transfer a level 10 with the BOAs on it to Frostmane if you really feel the need and the guild is going well.



It disappoints me that we can't all play on the same server because I think with 3 really dedicated people that it could be easy to get a real good raid going.



Either way I want to get a testing group of a Rogue tank/dps, warrior dps, hunter dps, paladin heal tank, and a main healer to go into the barrens and test every aspect of combat with levels 13-20+



I will be happy to fund your twink Sakul but first I need to get some money. I really want BOA axe but I'm considering spending all my heroic emblems on epic gems to sell.

I think shaman, priest and druid heals are the same speed. Priest heals more than the 2 other though.

Update: I helped Sakul make a basic rogue twink today with the [item]Sunstrider Axe[/item] . And let me tell you what, crusader procs like crazy with it. We were both self buffed and had dragonslayer and went out to see what we could kill. We crossed into the barrens from durotar and decide to try out a hecklefang hyena. We thought it was level 13 or 14, but after looking it up on wowhead it had to be 15 minimum and 16 maximum. I pulled it on my warrior with a bow, got off 1 hit with a 2 hander before Sakul joined in from the back. We easily took down the hyena but I got crit and died right before it was killed.



Anyway even from the front I got some good damage off on a 15, this looks promising for my goal of a 20 elite. I'm going to work out a 10 man setup and post here and maybe you guys could give some suggestions.

20 elite should be very possible. I guess I could've done it with my group if everybody were fully buffed and 5 hit on boots. Maybe a dps or two more could be needed. At least I think there's no need to be more than 10 peeps.



Btw, did crusader procc fast and once or ceveral times during a minute or less?. At least the weapon looks nice and belfs will be the next rogue. Try it with LS.



If the tank will be able to have a formal dangui with greater rune of warden that would be epic. Should be quite easy that way.

You can only get one axe per character, and I don't want to write over the crusader and have to go back to it if LS just gets resisted over and over. If I get another rogue dps/tank I'll have him try it out first.

The only 20 elite in the barrens is summoned by a quest, however there is a 23 elite Grand Foreman Puzik Gallywix which will be harder but probably fully possible.



I have yet to try out a pally heal tank and even see if lifeblood generates threat. I know for the pally tank to work out it's going to have to be fully geared, health will have to be good and so will mana, 2 AGMs will be essential. I don't know if it's worth it to sacrifice 9 stam for 5 mp5 on bracers for a heal tank.

I thought it was only 400 damage? Is that 400 damage absorb per hit for a certain time? It's got a 90 sec CD

Ahh 90 sec, thought it was 60. Well then the absorb should be 4500dmg.



It has a 25% to give you a shield absorbing 400 dmg. Over 15 min this should be 4500 damage if damaged the whole time. Most boss fights will not take 15 min so I guess you should get the shield once, then use AGM.

NIce, try Sand Shark. Much more difficult. Hogger was disapointing after doing the Sand Shark. The 2 man movie ends before you actually down hogger though. I WANNA SEE SOME LEWT!

The nelves in barrens are level 21, I highly doubt that's possible without at least 10 level 1 twinks in full gear.
