I never once said I believed in evolution. Everything about afterlife is a theory, because no one knows what happens. Some theories are just more stupid, in my opinion, than others.

I personally don't really believe anything. Whatever happens, happens I guess.

I don't believe everything in the bible. If you go to my first post, i don't even believe in one true religion. But, like the bible, if its true its provable yeah? Why isn't it proven.

Yet you still haven't provided me with anything fact based at all. You haven't even provided me with a theory, or religion. It seems like you pull all of your "info" from a bunch of bs you learned from a whiny professor who lives in a trailer. You simply can't debunk a religion based off of pure facts, you can't prove your theory at all.

But there's no proof of evolution.

There's two types of fossils. Those of extinct animals, and those of animals that are around today. If we are to believe in darwinism, there has to be those of animals in mid evolution, I.E the missing link.

Yes you are ignoring facts written in the wiki and keep sticking to the general defenition of atheism not taking into considderation that there are types of atheism which makes this discussion comming to an end cause of the lack of knolledge about atheism.

Atheism is the rejection of the belief in god (or any deity). Which in it's self is faith (not a faith). It's faith (belief/theory, W/E you want to call it) because it can't be proven one way or the other.

religion wasnt "made" to give people hope, it was made to justify wars, superiority, loot the poor and so many other terrible things... "religion" would still deplete the humanity BUT it isnt possible anymore, thanks to the secularization.

edit: oh and yea, religion was also important for people who cant accept the fact human brains have their limit, so everything which seems unexplainable HAS to concern with a "higher might"

You have to consider that these God defenders are arguing against Geosid, who has a political agenda (check 3 posts down), and leotseddap, who is as loopy as elkiva. yaddayaddayadda, and we're here on page 15 with people being extremely defensive. This is a typical atheist vs theist forum thread.
