What is everyone's go-to snack when you need to satisfy a sweet-tooth?
Do you prefer chocolatey, or sour candies?
How many calories of junk food do you consume on a daily basis?
Lets talk candy textures, smells, impulse buys, diabetes, etc..

Personally, I prefer sour candies.
Chocolate is great, but it tends to melt, and in most cases, isnt bite-sized.
The candies that I most often purchase would either be skittles or Starburst: Both satisfy my cravings and last fairly long when I am out & about. However, my all time favorite candy is most definitely airheads.

P.S. if you never had airheads with nerds pressed down to the top of them, then you're really missing out...its like an orgasm inside your mouth.

You know when you're on a road trip and you stop at the back water gas station somewhere in the Ozarks and they have that candy aisle with the off brand hot tamales and sour gummie worms and peach rings and all that? And how there's always a stale bag of those big, cinnamon flavored gummie bears?

Those are my go-to candy treat.

Real disappointed to see that Twizzlers didn't make the list

Honestly, I feel like absolutely nobody walks through the candy isle and leaves with a bag of twizzlers.
They aren't even good for straws...

sour or normal? I love my candy so sour that it destroys the top of my mouth for a few days

Regular gummy worms are great, but sour are a million times better. Same with sour skittles.

You're gross AF. I do like those "old people" hard-candies that are shaped like strawberries though.

Sour patch kids or bust

I love me some sour patch kids. I bought a $5 bag of them the other day TBH

First off... Reese's™ is not a specific product, it's a brand that covers a variety of candy types (...although I'd assume they'd all contain some sort of peanut-butter). C'mon, you're better than that. :p

Secondiy... I'll eat damn near any candy you offer me, within reason.

Thirdishisiveness... I wouldn't bother spending a single cent of my hard-earned cash on anything less than premium "holiday-only" Reese's™ Peanut-Butter Eggs/Trees/Pumpkins/Etc.

(...and not those disingenuous "miniature" ones, either; only the premium ones with the cardboard backing that come 1/2/6 to a pack, and actually list "Peanuts" as their #1 ingredient!)

That being the entirety of my thoughts on this subject... I will leave all of you diabetic riffraff to squabble over the "runners-up". ;)

True, but that can be argued for a great deal of the candies listed. To keep their product moving, brands need to get innovative and create new, yet interesting products. This is why Oreos went golden & double stuffed.

Peanut butter cups are arguably my favorite chocolate candy TBH. Pretty big fan of snickers, Twix, and crunch bars as well.
But I typically use a double-boiler to melt my chocolates down so I could make smores, or something. Shameful, I know.

used to always have these at LAN parties

because they'd be wrapped, so you didn't get your fingers n keyboard all greased up.

Wrapped candies are such an inconvenience.
The reason laffy taffy never made my list, is because not a single person has ever been able to eat it without getting wrapper in every single bite.
People are always trying to get me to share my wrapped candies too :(

rolo's are r1. end of thread.

When I was like, 10 years old, my papaw asked me what candy I want from the store and I said reeses, but he came back home with a rolo and I was pretty fucking upset over it.
