I remember when I played last year I just spent the match herding goats to the stables for easy badges before inevitably losing all but one time (seriously, I played MANY matches). It was better than dying a dozen times and I was able to buy some toys I wanted.

They just made lower levels much worse than higher levels. The scaling isnt what it was.

jokes aside, yeah it sucks for us, we can't really fight. But... The reward (repeatable per character) is nice.

iirc we couldnt even queue those first days during 2019 cuz of a bug and 2020 was bad scaling the whole event, not just for a couple of days.

Yes you recall correctly, only active gametime could queue at the start and 2nd year was shit wall to wall.

I think there are some pets and toy you can get and other than that just reputation for Justicar title, AV achievements and a lot of hks I guess

I've noticed that the scaling isn't just bad for lower levels. I saw a guy that was level 53 that had the same hp as me at level 20.

Thats because every gear that you get below lvl 50 gets scaled to ilvl of normal dungeons on lvl 50. And that is totally reasonable to not make separate bg for 20-50 and 51-60
