"Hey there, Healbotz!

We've been receiving numerous reports regarding some "Safe Spotting" actions in WSG!

In case you're unaware. "Safe Spotting" is when you exploit certain locations in game to attack others while remaining unattackable. This also means aggravating guards or pets and then evade bugging them by reaching these unable to hit locations.

These types of actions are actually pretty detrimental to our community and due to the amounts of the reports we're asking that you refrain from "Safe Spotting" in the future. If more reports of this type are received we may take harsher actions upto and and including and including account suspension.

We thank you for your cooperation with this!

Have a great day!

You got mad that I report jump exploits and called me a keyboard turner, with the worst grammar in this forum and think you are good at trash talk? Do you even understand these forums are for discussing topics around the idea of twinking? Or... are you so bad at everything, you resort to trolling WoW forums with worse "internet speak" than a middle schooler?
Interesting to see that the jump exploiter is a troll with few better things to do. I'll leave ya with that and let ya continue digging your own idiot grave. Have a good day Twinkmkfour. I hope your mature out of your toxic behavior when you hit your 20s.

You're giving blizz way too much credit

this is a case of blizz recieving an essay from an angry noob in the 10-19 brackejt and modern nu-blizz had to appease angry customer

Agreed, a huge difference between retail classic and wow classic was the implementation of the "Report: Cheating" feature. every player has it and every upset player will exploit it. The reason I received in-game mail from a gm was not because I was "Safe-spotting" it was because some upset enemy player told his entire team to right click my portrait and report me.

I play, and I get what you're saying. I'm just saying it's a dogshit attitude, just learn the jumps lol they ain't hard.

this is amazing. i giggled incredibly hard reading this. i'll go install grammarly now ey @Hbotz - so i can get my trolling up 2 skratch

Anything that can be reached without knowing a certain jump should be fine in my eyes. For exmaple horde tot you can also reach from falling from the top. And you can even be attacked by ranges from down there.
Stuff like Tree stump in the middle or the area on top horde portal in wsg are diffrent (these are Safespots if you ask me), you need to know how to get up there to hit someone hiding up there.

What im curious about is: is backdoor in av a thing for horde here? If yes and Blizz is fine with it EVERY jump should be allowed(besides Safespots) aswell, since you use "Wall jumps to get somewhere and skip time instead of running the normal way"

You really haven't discussed anything either, you've just stated over and over that if the area isn't immediately accessable by all then it's an exploit. Putting aside the fact that the community at large that built this site and kept it going for years were jump twinkers, it took blizzard years to even acknowledge twinking at all. Like Mike I'm not trying to make this a old-school kind of thing but when did you start playing twinkers and in which brackets?

I twinked back in TBC, on a toon named TwinkMike. I believe he is level 20 now, something about the Cata expansion leveled him up to 20. It wasn't the best twink, but I was like... 16 or 17 at the time. I was even once told back then to get down from a jump exploit. But that being so long ago, I have no evidence from that.
Explaining that areas not being immediately accessible is discussing it. And I posted a screen shot of a GM stating this as well, just a few days ago. If you are asking how the community feels about this being against the rules and bannable/reportable then have at it, but Blizz has a firm stance on it. Hence the reason people are receiving warnings. What more is there to discuss? People have been warned. A GM has stated it is against the rules. Done deal.

Usually there's some give and take when it comes to discussion. Sad to say if that's your final argument, which was your opening statement, blizzard is going to go around banning twinkers. We're going to have a lot of banned twinkers and we won't even have a chance to come up with any premade rules sad day

I provided GMs response from Blizzard. Which wasn't really needed as the opening to this was already a response from Blizzard warning of this behavior in the first place. What other thought's is there to have on the subject? Unless this is a forum to complain that Blizz has rules against this, it's pretty open and shut.

It's just upsetting, so I suppose I am complaining. Or maybe just venting, either way I had gotten excited over an authentic classic experience and time and time again its been obvious that's not going to happen. Luckily what was also drilled in on my three days back is that the rules are sure topsy-turvy so maybe some individual guilds will agree to allow them in premade content. Pugging for the most part I'm fine wth giving up jumps in, though it will simplify the kiting routes quite a bit.

Jumps in premades just seemed to add another dimension to warsong gulch that made it more enjoyable. The amount of traps that could be setup, the misdirects an fc could do once a team has a good handle on the jumps the FC is good with, or getting the clutchest save up a graveyard and healing up in the face of 2 rouges. Oh man and watching a squad of people trying to get the jumps, and doing so more frequently as the matches went on.

Who knows maybe all the twinkers will just battle it out in giant 10v10 world battles until one side gets pushed back to the gy. Being forced into your flagroom will count as a score and the opposing team will be allowed to freely cap the flag. We've done a solid job so far agreeing on the way to make wuhsuhguh as fair as possible, so implementing that in pugs will be a breeze.

edit: but ya you're right, actiblizzard put their foot down so all i can do is vent to people that wont read it haha
