Hi guys, there are alot of twinks on twisting nether, both horde and alliance. We do not like farming, we also have alot of 85 friends that can help you get arena grand master or fishing hat etc. We do group bg's and arena's on alliance side as well as dungeon runs

I recommend you join alliance side but also horde, horde needs more twinks on twisting nether!

also feel free to make a hunter

Try downloading the "F2P Addon" or get it through Curse. It helps keep F2P's connected!

I'm joining the F2P community for the first time, altough I have played wow for years.
I usually play as Horde, but from what I read on this thread, the alliance side has more people to do bgs and arenas. My question is if the horde side also has people to queue for arenas?
If not, I will also join the alliance side probably as a warrior to start meeting all the people =)

Well if you want to join Twisting Nether, then I suggest you make an Alliance character. There are some on Horde here but not as many as Alliance. You'll have a better chance of getting groups for Arenas and BG's on Alliance.

But I've heard Aggramar, Burning Steppes and Hyjal (I know Hyjal have never made a post on TI but I faced a 10-man Horde premade from there a few days ago and always see them in together while BG'ing) are a good place for Horde. If you really want to play Horde, you can try those servers out.

I had my first f2p chat with Pixie and Gnomenessness ( I may have misspelt that! ) the other night, there's not a lot of us Hordies on TN. I think I've only 5 or so f2pers on my friend list. I may roll an Ally toon.

I guess it's down to personal preference, queue times vs. having someone to queue with.

How long were the Ally WSG queues this weekend? Horde side we less than a minute most of the time I was on, except the really off peak times early in the day.

Thank you for your replies. After some thinking I decided to create a Night Elf Warrior called Deathsong (Nelfs are cool), fell free to add me on your friends list.

Having someone to play with made me roll alliance. And I also want to help the F2P community grow on Twisting Nether. I'm happy to find players dedicated to develop this community on EU servers.
Later I will probably end up rolling some Hordies to see if maybe Horde numbers will also increase there.

If I may ask, do people speak German as a main language of TN, EU?
Just curious, as that was the main reason I started an EU F2P was to keep my German from getting too rusty.
