Just how and why did ya'll put former paying customers with trial customers into 1 forum. There is no click between these sorts of players and there never will be at all. Could you tell me please the reasoning behind this? I really like to know without any lies? The Vet tag is super helpful.

If you are 20, you need a certain subset of information. The ability to use chants is such a minor (informational) difference that takes 2 seconds to type or not type out. No reason to split 20s into different sections based on that...

I do think the heading should be 21-29 though.

There are more points then this but it is a matter how you look at things and taking all sides in considderation which has failed here with creating to many and or bad options to chose from and way to much existing account type pov.

Most of the people chose the side conserning them, you can see that clearly back in the poll and the comments from both 29s, standard starter edition account players, those who play with restrictions on their subbed accounts and the ones going from standard to veteran starter edition accounts.

This all simply placed going from a subbed account to veteran starter edition account a bit in a weird spot. I've played my 20s for a long time now on my paid account and shifting forum sections in this way just doesn't feel ok.

I'm not sure what you're talking about to be honest... From what I've seen vets have been widely accepted by the f2p group. I think the only thing that gets some people's feathers ruffled are the enchants, but that's easy to get around with how you can make 1 set of Boa gear with enchants and another with starter restrictions.

There's no reason to segregate 20s from everyone else in the 20-29 bracket. They are the same damn bracket and share the same damn pvp space. If you want to distinguish your thread from other threads, title it appropriately. Really not sure what happened with the whole 'we're going to make everything 20-29 to help repair the fractured community' bit they were going on about, but this isn't it.

As long as players choose to do things differently, there will be discussions about it and that's not a reason to segregate the community.

OP has a point and the mods of this site have yet to prove their worth as leaders.

Actually yea there is. If I'm a 20 my information is going to vary drastically then if I was a 29. Gear, chants, guide, talents, glyphs, dungeons...

Vet 20 vs starter 20 is 1 thing, chants. No reason to split that up. why have 2 areas for guides that reference the same thing?

You can view it as a divided community but you don't have to. This is a correct division of information... One forum containing information for 2 very different play styles doesn't really make sense.

'Play style' is the difference between how two different players play the same spec. For example, a F2P disc priest can be played the same way a level 29 disc priest can be played, despite the obvious difference in account level and game access.

That is not the truth. People sometimes react badly because of what a person says, but that's true between people of the same level as well. Don't make false arguments.

This is also not true. That has never been put forth as a reason by anyone, you are making things up. The truth is that lots of people have given lots of good reasons for the way the sections are split. In fact I suggested to the community that we were thinking about putting everyone together, and the community rebelled. That's the reason why we had all those rounds of polls. If you looked at the results of those polls, you would see that your argument simply does not have any factual basis in the collective opinion of the vast majority of your peers.

Listen to Hashbrowns, everything he said is spot-on. We can't please everyone. But we feel like we have pleased the most someones that we can. The rest will deal with things in whatever way suits their personality.

Unless everyone is on an even playing field there will always been an us vs them. Matters not what sub-forum we are in.

A sub forum is just meant to funnel information for a specific player base. And this accomplishes that. By your thought why not just lump all twinks into one forum and prefix every post then?
