How do I get that? | 20s Guides

At the same time? What if you wanna have alchemy or enchanting. But I suppose its possible.
I suppose if you borked your profession juggling as a F2P it might be a bit of an inconvenience. But then if you gotta drop 300 alchemy because you didnt think ahead to getting engineering well... thats a powerful teacher.

But you didnt bork your engineering, you can drop engi after you have the knife and get mining instead or do it after youre done with all your mining because you dont need mining for the knife.

this is you imagining a situation and getting mad at it to cover for just being wrong when you went to try and be your usual nitpicky self.

Zoom out a little bit and stop staring at trees while complaining that you cant see the forest.

I just said theres a mine right there you dont have to go looking, then you guys jumped on me with scenarios where mining is the go to profession anyway so everyone should have it at the ready, which differs from my experience but anyway. I do agreed we have covered the topic enough to end it here though.

Thanks for that. Are you sure 100 fel iro is enough? I read about 250 somewhere else here and a I am f2p I don't want to swap professions to often.
Pretty much exactly what Brawler said.
Then err on the side of caution and stock up on fel iron ore. In your situation, it's better to be safe than sorry.

if you do the math, 100 fel iron / 5 ore per prospect = level 20 JC (I'm not 100% sure if you're guaranteed a level per prospect up to 20) which means you should have plenty of gems after prospecting to get you to from 20-25 and once you hit 25 you're on to adamantite.

Also if you're f2p I wouldn't drop mining until I've gotten all the talasites I wanted because your RNG could be trash. But I'm assuming you have another prof you dont want to drop.

I needed 210 fel iron to get from 0 to 20.

Don't want to drop engineering, so I mined 2000 adamantite ore. The first 400 gave me 11 talasites, the rest none. Bad luck.

Then you you go again I guess.

Is my math wildly wrong? or did you not get a skill up every time you prospected?
Its like everything else. Orange to 10 or 15, yellow to 20 and green to 25. You wont get skill points every time.

Great guide! Can you explain the possible ways to get Chaos Orbs? I would like to craft goggles as a vet with inactive sub, but I'm having trouble finding chaos orbs for some reason.
