Thank you... I will enjoy my battlegrounds where, as a druid, I might have to play mid, kill the efc or carry the flag based upon the composition of my team and opponents along with the ebb and flow of the match, while hotting everyone in range that's not at 100%. Exciting and unpredictable!
it's exciting and unpredictable until you take a HoJ to the knee

dude there is nothing quite as exciting and unpredictable as checking your battlegroundtargets mod before a BG starts in order to count the number of hunters, 24s, and sub-1k players on each team, and immediately knowing the outcome of the game before it even starts

I think exciting unpredictable part is doing just that that, thinking you know the outcome, and being wrong :) Sometimes the underdogs win, sometimes they don't, but you can still have fun playing the game either way if that's what you like doing.

Anyways I thought this thread was a discussion about which class's play you can most dramatically improve through increased knowledge of how to play it, not an "I know you are but what am I" fest between bgs and arenas. Which one a person enjoys most or wants to take part in is personal preference, doesn't mean we can't still be friendly towards one another D:

I have been in a BG where an fc pally with 3K health got focused down en masse and then some noob mage with 500+ health catches their team off guard, sprinting down the field UNTOUCHED to get the cap. We still laugh about that to this day.

oh, and yes I had to ROOT an alliance druid who was about to catch him before he got to our tunnel. :p

Exciting and unpredictable, no doubt.

sometimes i go to the playground and play basketball with all the 12 year old kids, and see how many i can take on by myself before there are just too many and i can't win

jk i don't actually do that

because that would be completely retarded

I like my BGs, and acknowledge that I'm not as good a player as some of the Arena All Starz. But the amount of superiority felt by said arena enthusiasts is just disgusting. I do decently enough in arenas to enjoy myself, it just isn't as satisfying as playing a game of capture the flag. I like to carry flags, and enjoy the elements of PvP that aren't just fighting. Either working with some decent players, rallying pugs to play objectives, or simply taking a game into my own hands to try and pull off a win is almost always more stimulating than trying to kill the same 3 people over and over again. When a BG isn't fun, just /AFK, log to an alt and requeue. But, at the end of the day, this whole debate isn't about arenas or BGs, or the OP for that matter.... It's just Epeens, egos and trolling.
