Burg I hope you see this, I remember you long before Nagaz, before vet was even an option. I will give you words of advice because it's obvious you've started down the same path. Stop caring about a stupid title on this site. I focused on MVP so much I started NEEDING the recognition of others to feel appreciated. You do not need a stupid BM title to see you help this bracket. This bracket doesn't even need a BM to be honest but that's mods decisions.
What this bracket/site really needs is someone to help "fix" this infestation called a bracket. Consider this the great 20 depression, how will you get us out of it? Until then, continue the petty drama about a stupid popularity contest.

This follows up on my post above. Burg has NOT asked for it. That is the difference. When you people get older/a little more mature you will come to understand you get recognized for actions and deeds, not names...

I agree, it is petty and pathetic to cry and whine on wanting a simple title.
People go so far as to even their most undignified level of social aspects just to see someone else come out on top.

That sadly cant even be proven, Myrm has given the direct explanation of the requirements and duty of a BM so the "reward" thing may not even be the case.
The ratio of helpful threads in comparison to drama is way off balance. This site is truly helpful, but lets all be honest that once you are in here, you WILL have drama in your WoW life.
This thread has pretty much proven that only pathetic whining people are even interested in such topics as this.

I appreciate the message. I see what you mean.
I will say though, I never asked to be a BM. When there was a thread made to nominate I was mentioned in most of the comments, along with Lenny. When Turtle became BM I never complained. It was others that were making threads and comments about how I should be it, mainly Cheeser.
I was doing things to try to help the Vet side of the bracket before BM was even mentioned to us. Plus, this may be the only thread I mentioned anything about BM in, I could be wrong though. Hope all is going well with you. Miss seeing you in the Gulch, it always made for a fun game.

I disagree. I think things done on Twink Info can have a large impact on brackets. Take the Twink Cup for example. It greatly increased the activity of the 19 bracket. If you're going to be a bracket manager, you need to believe that what you and others do on the site matters.

That was a statement directed at the ingroup of this bracket. So only they would understand.
I can try to break down the inside-thoughts on this: We dont consider activity a problem. The problems in our bracket are completely different from any other. We have clueless players. 9 Level differences. People rolling FoTm.
This won't change. Trial accounts are for new people coming into the game. So a high percentage of population are clueless players in the bracket. What do clue-less level 20 players attract? Experience/idiotic 29s. The mentality they have is to faceroll these clueless 20s....so it would only make sense for these guys to roll FoTm.
I'm not disagreeing completely. Yes there are some things that the community can achieve. I myself have witnessed that. Also it wasn't what I meant when I typed that out.

I believe making guides and letting people know that Twinkinfo.com exists and that they should check it, will also improve their experience with the game and eventually get better. This is something that happened to me and that i cannot disagree with. [MENTION=23518]Turtle[/MENTION], the bracket's state may be crappy right now because everyone is rolling FOTMs, but remember- This is pugs, not 10v10. Also, the changes made on Legion will make the gap closer between F2Ps and Veterans -- There won't be an advantage at all to be honest. This will mean, f2ps not having to roll OP classes.

Thats a nice speech lenny but you did not get the point of my statement at all. Brackets are represented more on their public states, not 10v10s, but Battlegrounds and such. I dont know why you felt to mention the gap close as it doesn't really relate... There will still be 29 FoTms...there will ALWAYS be 29 FoTms..there will ALWAYS be clueless 20s.
Think about it this way:
Twink communities such 19s,39s are all "CHOICES". (That term is important)
When joining these communities you have knowledge on expectations and you most likely have been a long term player (enough to know how to be decent) to know of such communities that have formed.
Now the 20 community is not a choice. It's for trial accounts and new players to experience the game. You are going to be dumped a PVP environment that is clueless on how PVP even works, and the only knowledgeable players that play this bracket are FoTms that are 9 levels ahead of you. Lets take ourselves out of the picture, no vets no long term f2p players.
So what your basically left with is in literal terms is a boy in fists fighting a armed soldier.
Not only that but this bracket is a HUGE transitional state in a leveling perspective.
You have spell that take major advantages at 29s and what tops it off is the ability to learn glyphs and of course as you always mentioned the enchants!
So even if we compare it to such other examples like 70 VS 79, we are still in the worst scenario by FAR.
Yes you do gain PVP experience in the game but that doesnt solve this brackets problem.
This is a continuous chain of Trail Accounts joining with such heavy disadvantages & a chain of 29s with advantages. Unlike the 19s, anything entered is EXPERIENCED. The bracket will continue having clueless new players and 29s with mentality to roll a FoTm to faceroll some noobs.
