guys, how do you feel about 24's on YOUR team?

aight, looking at CripzBlood's behaviour here and the SS he posted here, i kind of understand why F2P people hate 24's now, because you think all 24's are like him.

but you are wrong!

my only request to you F2P people: don't judge a 24 until you observe his play in a BG. no need to be rude off the bat just because someone is a 24.
People don't dislike 24s because of whether or not they play objectively, people dislike them because they are there to faceroll. Just because you play objectively DOES NOT MEAN that you don't faceroll.

Edit: You might rather have one, but that doesn't mean that it would be better then a 24 engineering rogue.

pre 5.0, people who rolled F2P hunters didn't roll hunters because they wanted to faceroll?

let's face it, when there is an easy option and a hard option, most always go the easy route, it's human nature.

you can't hate 24's just because they are able to pick an even easier option because they pay $15 a month.

try 24 warrior buddy.I feel no remorse for your rogue, it is just as OP as a f2p druid.Esp once fc gets 6-10 stacks, 2 ambushes(or 3 with thistle tea) can make quick work of ANY 24 paladin(followed by ~1000 evis),unless they are guarded by 5 24 druids

People did roll hunters because they wanted to faceroll, and I don't hate 24s because they pay $15 dollars a month to facroll. I dislike 24s that try to act victimized by trials and feel the need to constantly justify themselves.

Edit: "able" makes it sound like you think trials are unable to pay $15 dollars a month, which I seriously doubt is the case for the majority of trials.

last time i checked, good rogues at in 20-24 spec assassin post 5.0 because of Assassin's Resolve and Envenom.

People don't hate 24s because they can pick an easier option due to paying for the game, they hate 24s because there is a massive gap between what you can do with your paid character and what a free trial can do, and no matter how you play, if you're at least slightly good, then a 20 will lose every time to you.

You're missing the point. It doesn't matter one bit if you play objectively. To the team you're playing against, you're facerolling, because you have it so much easier.

it would require a lot of farming (swiftness pot etc) but i'd rather have a BiS F2P druid/paladin over my rogue. why do you never believe whatever i say, man.
I don't believe this particular statement because if you'd rather have a BiS F2P druid or paladin, you would have one.

There is nothing stopping you from locking XP at 20 and sticking to the restrictions. Or creating a starter account to run through dungeons etc. on your main.

well, i just thought a little courtesy and communication would win more games. that lock i mentioned in OP returned the flag solo and that enabled an enemy BiS F2P druid to pick up the flag. if he didn't do it, i would have killed their carrier the instant our FC went back to our flag room.

we still won the game, but it could have been a lot easier.

like i said, gearing up a F2P druid is too freaken hard on a new account.

and if i do gear up one on this account...well...we are back to the easy route/hard route reasoning...

i wonder whats the diference btw my SS and yours SS?

well i am glad we could all sit down and have a healthy discussion regarding an issue that has bothered me for a while.

i think i get what most of you F2P players are saying now, maybe i will join you someday when my sub runs out.

there is no need for this thread to remain open as i really don't appreciate unwanted attention.

thanks guys.

You just don't get it do you? 24s are people who seek advantage against trials. If you want to be able to kill Trials/new players with little effort then you don't deserve respect. If you want respect, DON'T ROLL A 24!

Hey the last couple pages of this thread looks familiar! 24 asking for respect.. Hmm this was laughed at about as much as my hunt thread asking bout respect lol.. Glance you should know: 24s are forbidden and hunts were forbidden. Roll dem F2P druids now or you shoulda rolled a cata Hpal. Go under the radar while still being as OP as everything else then you don't gotta worry bout other people catching on. Just stay on that F2P Hpal you have and stay off your 24 rogue then everything will be fine

Thank you for discussing calmly until viewpoints were mostly understood. ^^ What I gathered from this thread is that you don't want players of F2P characters to judge all 24 twinks the same, but remember that there really is no homogenous group of 20s to ask this of either.

Play what makes you happy, and if you ever do decide create a 20 (with your main account's help it really is as easy as Swoops said!) you'll have more of a reason to discuss things in the F2P twinking subforum. :)

EDIT: Oh Lil, still bitter about your respect hunters thread? :( To you as well: remember that there really is no homogenous group of 20s to ask this of. Let go and feel better. :) I liked playing with your MoP hunter.

I don't bash. :)

I practice subtle critique and subversion.

I just brought up my thread because I saw respect in here the last couple pages and thought of how my post went along these same lines basically. (Can't be bitter when alot of people who disrespected me are now rerolled Druids ;) ) I have a passion of arguing with 24s who won't admit they play a 24 to faceroll but I have seen glance on his 20 Hpal a couple times and he seems to understand why most trials think why they do about 24s so i didn't want to give him grief.
