Guide to 300 gear at 110, which quest lines

Hello,
Do we have any guides what is needed for ilvl 300 gear at 110? Is it 295 +5 from azerite power?

Follow the Chapter line of each zone. Final quest after your done with all the chapters gives a 295 piece upgradable to 300
 
Hey guys, I did the full quest lines for Tiragarde Sound and Drustvar, but both times, I only got 280 pieces. Why is that? Everywhere online, it says you get 300, and everyone else is saying they got their 300s from doing that, but me and a few friends tried last night and only got 280s.
 
I think it has something to do with you azurite level when you get the quest. I was collecting all the chest, killing the rares in all the zones as I quested through them all. Didn't get my first 295 piece until the end of the second zone. By the end of the third zone I had four 295 pieces. I finished at Azurite level 13.

After doing almost all of the Quest in BFA this is a list of all the Azurite Gear I obtained on my 110 hunter. This is before the +5 trait.

Are you saying, that you think the higher your neck level is, the higher ilvl the gear is?
 
It’s either the level of your arti, or as the story progresses, you unlock the higher tier. I didn’t get a 295 piece till the final quest of the second zone I finished, but then got 295s again in the last zone.
 
There's two archaeology trinkets, I forget the names, some sort of totems. One drains health from an enemy, one slows their attack/cast speed.

You get them from solving zandalari archaeology; took me about an hour and a half of solving puzzles, no archarology level req.
 
Hello, I can put your mind at ease. I have been doing this with 2 characters and they both popped a reward at 295 at the same stage, hence I think you get rewarded depending how you tackle these quests, and you will get them towards the end of your story quests in the later zones you tackle. Perhaps they never get rewarded early on.

Sorry English is not my native tongue, let me try again.

Ignore the fact some people may get their 295 from certain quest/chains, I think it is dependant on the order you complete them. As you won't necessarily be performing all the quests in the same order as someone else, instead focus on getting all the main story quests completed, and by the end of the second zone / start of the third zone you should then start seeing the ilvl295 (this is backed up by the above replies too).

In my example I ran 2 characters on the exact same quests through 2 different zones, I had many 280 rewards then a 295 on both characters at the same point, I doubt it was RNG I think they were rewarded at that particular point because they always get rewarded late on.

So, I need to find out what zone has my worst trait, and do that first correct? because itll be lower ilvl

Hey wint. Just a heads up, try to avoid taking traits that give a high amount of secondary stat on random cast/attack/heal. I tested the PPM on all the ones I unlocked, and it’s less than 1 proc per minute. Closer to 1 proc every 2 minutes. To me that not worth with all the other OP traits.

From my testing, the 295s trigger after you have completed 3 story Azerite Quests with 280 rewards, so effectively 1 and a half zones. Then the last quest second area, and both quests in the last area yield pieces at 295.
 
So pretty consistently, i'v seen that it swaps to 295 after the 2nd dungeon quest is completed. So, ally side, do the first half of tiragarde to get freehold dungeon quest unlocked before the final azerite piece quest, then do one other zone fully and after you do the dungeon quest at the end of that zone, all pieces should be 295 besides those 3. (first half of tiragarde, and the 2 pieces from the 2nd zone you do to get access to dungeon quest for that one.) You can hold off on the pvp turn in until then and it will be 295 instead of 280. My experience with doing this on 3 characters so far and it's been successful. Neck level did not affect it, I had faction changed and even with a level 13 neck, 280s were all i got until I had done my 2nd dungeon quest horde side.

Edit: My experience on the 1 1/2 zone theory above, I tried that horde side thinking that was the case and it didn't work. Horde doesn't get an earlier dungeon quest until you complete two full zones essentially, and I did every quest possible (in both zones i had done horde, full completition) before giving up and turning in that final quest in that zone for the azerite piece to get the dungeon quest available. Just my experience though. I do remember having the quest turn to "completed" and before I even turned it in, my war campaign quest rewards were showing 295 instead.
