yea.. just played vs 4 huntards (2 of them p2p) 1 protardin, 1 agi stacking feral(1,6k FB without zerker.. why? because fck you balance, thats why), 2 restodruids (one of them p2p) and 2 holy paladins (on of them p2p)...

Poor germans... u should take visit to Alliance(EN) side so u could have bgs like that all afternoon&night, not joking.
 
Just looted a chest on one toon to find a Skeletal Club, thought about rushing one of my not-yet-20s over there so one could have it for mog. Decided not to do that.
Next chest - MM. So I log out and then in to my mage and fly to the spot, counting the seconds. When I got there, the chest was GONE. I don't think it was even 4 minutes, let alone 5 (chest farming guide says roughly five minute countdown til the chest evaporates.

Dammit, I could have used someone else's computer to log into the mage, while re-opening the chest w/ the other toon every minute. Ugh.

Seems someone snuck in and stole the loot. Probably some hunter...

The only times I've had chests despawn before ~5 min was when it was taken by another person or (possibly) opening the chest X number of times. (X = a pretty high number maybe 30 or so from experience--even then it took over 5 minutes) I always wait for the clock to change 3 minutes before relogging to reopen chests.

B/c OCD, I did re-check a few minutes later - and there was a lvl 30 there, questing. So maybe he got the MM. (He was a shaman though, lol).

Relogging/switching characters and cleaning mobs from around the chest and -whatever else- takes time. That extra 2 mins is a buffer for situations like that, and perhaps other surprises that cost precious time.

Precisely. Waiting for 3 minutes on the clock gives you 2-3 minutes of running/flying/riding time, yet provides ample time to log a new toon, clear/cc mobs, open chest, get out of combat (or die if that;s faster), etc.
 
One of my close WoW friends who likes to twink with me passed away last night supposedly. He's been sick for a week. He got me into F2P.

Not a rant but just a bad day.
 
AP Ally premade is legit.. they chased my druid MsMetro around like they really hated cats. I seem to solo queue into them the past couple of days..
 
So the other night i was running bfd on my rogue to see if anything rare showed up, and by chance a doomspike appeared! although its not really bis anymore i took it to use as a mog. i was still feeling lucky this morning so i had another go at bfd, and then a wild ring of precision appears :O but of course the rsham needs and wins :[

That Doomspike depleted your 2 years of built-up luck in one go, so of course you had to lose that RoP ;)

Good luck! :) The process can be boring! I used to level in short bursts, and only doing what I feel like instead of forcing myself to continue anything that felt too much like a grind.

Yeah, but he was already sitting on a huge, good luck surplus from how long it took him to get LFH, so I'm not so sure about the math. Sometimes luck is streaky, sometimes it is seemingly random. But do not be fooled! WoW can see directly into your soul and knows exactly how to tug at your heartstrings.
