So maybe you mean make a lvl 20 server? Then again wasn't one of the original concepts the challenge of fighting p2ps. Hence a f2p server lose the challenge appeal?

ya i meant a 20 private server, but the concept of "challenge" only came with the fact there were 24s / 29s but i doubt ppl will complain about not seeing 29s when there are good 20s to face instead. im sure ppl will gladly face good 20s than bad 29s for their challenge

We had a 6k guar in the EFR I was hoping would pick flag... he said "nah" and proceeds to derp gy.
 
If you guys want to play wow for free, go to the private server forum section here and find a server to join. This bracket is too gimmicky if you really are serious about good games

Veterans who already had headpiece, cloak and leggings guild heirlooms in their 20 toons of their old p2p account are ok. I only dont like people who are paying for full new accounts just to do 20s with guild heirlooms(including the new neck ones) with powerfull enchants. This is unacceptable, it's so wrong. If you want to do this, get out, just go full 29 bitch and pay or farm a shitload of gold for tokens to do this(when this feature becomes available).

Just think of it as the 20-29 bracket like in BC where all the players one shotted lvl 20s, having more improved fire/frost/lifestealing enchants, and gear that f2ps wouldn't be able to obtain because we were too low lvl....


At least that's how I see it.. only difference is that we had a time limit to play in the bracket back then... now we enjoy getting one shotted... (at least I do.... ive neen f2p since I found out about this game, sure i rant about it, but i keep coming back to it.)

well when i came here this bracket was dead, not even 20ppl to make 1 organized bg, f2ps arrived hundreds of 29s started showing, and old 24s lvlup.

where did the interest of playing this bracket came? be4 u couldnt even make 1 organized premade bg, now everyone wants to play this bracket.

They're the same people. They will be found wherever they have the most advantage, and the games are least competitive.

Your dedication to a cause most consider lost is commendable. The sad fact though, is that most will take the easy route when it is presented, and the pay-to-win route has always been the easier of two roads in this bracket. That said, I wish there were a way to encourage more honorable play, but the temptation is simply to great for most.

You can see it that way, which is completely valid, but I think that this is an opportunity for compromise in the bracket. F2ps can buy-to-play battlechest, and 29s can come down to 20. I think this is a compelling argument for the 29s that actually care about competitive gameplay because 20 BMs don't have guard, which needs to be removed from the bracket, one way or another. 19s have disallowed ferals from the twink cup and many have stopped queueing them in regular bgs. I think we can do the same, if we slut-shame 29 BMs into not queueing. If they persist, you can afk kick them, not heal them, let them get GY farmed, and sandbag them in other ways.

I'm not currently taking a break from 20s while all this shakes out, but maybe I'll come back one a certain group of non-competitive players takes a departure from the bracket.

yes, because the gap between f2ps and p2ps now is the same as the gap between bc/wotlk lvl 29 twinks and terrible geared lvl 20s

The simple solution to 29 BMs is to AFK them out. It worked for Prot Warriors in the 39's. The only problem in the 20-29 level is that too many level 20-29 want BMs on their side, yet they do not want to got versus them.

when major part of team is 29s, i hardly think they will kick themselves out, and normally when playing 29 ur not seeking for balance.
