No, but most of the people here have been playing 19s for a fair bit now; and the word hunter triggers the inner hulk in many of us.
The first few posts in which people genuinely did try and help you should tell you not everyone is an "elitist" and people do care.
First impressions doesnt reflect well on the site; but there is definetley help and friendly peeps around if you can bare the trolls and rage from time to time.

To be brutally honest if hunters were removed from the game I honestly think it would be a lot more fun in bg's.
People who rolled hunters in the vanilla or tbc days are still not respected but they are "put up with".
These people rolled twinks to get perfect gear and not to "wTfP\/\/N" midfield and are therefore slighty more tolerated.
What really annoys me is when new hunters seem to think they are good players when they kill and experienced played in wsg when a frost mage is pelting them with frostbolts. I've actually had a new hunter come to my realm make an ally char and say
"WOW! you are a NOOB!!! I PWNED YOU BITCH. I'm new to the hunter class and I STILL pwned your rogue, bitch!"
When I replied with "You realise a frost mage was hitting me with frostbolts and you are one of the most OP classes in WoW..."
He said "LOL UMADBRO WTFPWNED BITCH!" then placed me on ignore and logged off...
THIS is why I hate all hunters that started in the past year or so....

agree. you would need something extraordinary to be accepted as a "real pvp'er" when playing a hunter.. its like.. signing up for a dragrace. yourself in an aston martin, and your friends in toyota picnics. (admitted, these picnics have some cool racing stripes, and pimped up tires..) but still...
hunters were just given a couple of win buttons.. hopefully, it'll be nerfed to shreds..

There is nothing wrong with rolling a hunter. Most people dislike them cause they dont c a way to counter them in pugs but its not a very good reason to tell a new twinker to go reroll. If he wants to make a hunter let him make a hunter.

And if you cant beat them, join them. Fight fire with Fire insted of whining about hunters.
Keep in mind tho that if there are to many hunters in a wsg game you should make a wise descision to relog to another twink to keep people from nerd raging and quit to requeue. Its what i would do.

I do agree with you about people hounding him for talking about hunters; but as i said before hunters are disliked with a passion and i think someone saying "first time twinker" followed by hunter just filled the stereotype of all newgen twinkers rolling hunters for lolopdmg.
Dont think they are personal attacks; just people dislike hunters and some people respond on a more hands on approach while others like yourself do it in a more civilised fashion

New twinks are always welcome. It's just disappointing that fotm classes are the ones that have their ranks filled more often than the classes that need more representation.
Maybe a ridiculously large file of screenshots with 5+ hunters per team or bg's with only 3-4 classes represented would be something that finally makes blizz take notice of the problems that exsist in the lower levels.
We should all make huntards and keep queing and spamming them with screenshots of what they turned this bracket into. It's really bad. I started a file two weeks ago and I have at least 23 screen shots of bg's with 10+ hunters in the game. And I've only played maybe 34* games in that span of time. That's pretty depressing.
*edit* did a rough estimate with the honor gained and my win percentage and got the actual number of screen shots saved with 10+ hunters. (2/3 of all the games I've been in..... /wrists)
I'd rather face level 10 resilience abominations than hunters. At least you only see 1-2 per team at most. And they are easier to kill if you know what you're doing.

@OP - Fishing Hat > Green Tinted, Rogue BoA chest for hit w/ 4 stats, Black Wolf Bracers w/ 9 stam, Bandit Belt, Smelting Pants > Fang if you can afford the stam, Feet of the Lynx w/ 7 agi > Cobrahns since minor speed really isn't that important for a hunter (read: disengage), AGM, and BoA Bow for the hit cap.

I had my experiences in my old battlegroup and that battlegroup was full with hunters. But this was just rediculous. Made one screen but we had several encounters and some games were even fun. Its something none of you probably seen before or encountered. But we did, silly old battlegroup Nightfall EU in tbc:

Also look at the screen above, look at it, it didnt kill the bracket, it made us more committed to win from these guys. We always had to face zillion of hunters back in nightfall and the only solution was to reroll one yourself because it was one farming hell. And it worked. Fighting Fire with Fire is one solution to stop people from rolling these and playing them 2.
