I'll be there I think, hopefully I can bring some sweet hunter dps but knowing things I'll end up tanking haha. Monks(and all tanks) are getting some cool changes in 7.1 so the priority of tanks might be loosening up a little bit. You can finally cleanse off all that built up stagger and 2/3 of your t3 talents aren't useless anymore

Trying to gauge interest again. I'm getting scattered messages from about a dozen people at different times, asking when we raid, when we'll be back, are we active, etc.

We want to start setting dates to raid and if just the people who messaged me in private in the last month got together we'd be doing MC again.

Hey man, love the character, gear is great (pretty much BIS for a non gnome). Only problem with spell caster DPS is the hit chance (which is stupidly low) you will find that in raids your hit chance vs bosses and trash will be totally different and recent testing has suggested that recent changes have made it even more difficult (but dont let that put you off, maybe do some testing on target dummies). PVP should be fun and mages are decent in the bracket. I would recommend signing up to the discord in order to message the other members of the project.

My hit chance isn't too bad actually or atleast duels it's not beat a lvl 86 the other day
 
Yea only problem is that PvE and PvP have hit scale differently its been the longest running issue we have with Blizzards dumb stat scaling. But one thing which will benefit you hugely is the fact that ice mages are somewhat one hit wonders so assuming you get the one hit you will so some major DPS. Other things to look for are abilities which guarantee AOE hits if the original spell is a hit, SPriests are somewhat effected by this. Also I think we are planning to have our first raid in a few days so sign up and come along to really give your mage a test.
 
Did anyone else try out durnholde?
I just heard we can get in there so gave it a try and it was a bit easier than what I had hoped for as you can see.. Now is there anything else that opened up for us that we know of like this that we can try out?
We actually didn't wipe on any bosses here first try. Now I am just thinking if it can be soloable by any class/spec.

Was a whole lot of fun guys, we now have a set raid day/time. Next raid will have 50% less Thirk related wipes. With more people the next bunch of bosses will be a lot easier and im sure we will have MC done in the next few weeks. Please join the discord if your not already, it is really useful. Just waiting for Thirk to post more info about our set raid day/time.
