[Feedback] WPvP Zul'Gurub Event

Fun, but wasn't as good as the last one, which is no fault on Kochist who did a great job leading both.

Perhaps a change of scenery for the next one? (if there is going to be)

i thought it was alot of fun like the last one but i feel that there was way more rudeness/disrespect this time. i know alot of people brang friends from other servers, which is good for activity, but there were several people who obviously never read this thread or didnt understand the rules/safe zones. this should be a FRIENDLY competition, i saw way too much /spitting and stuff like that.
but that kind of stuff is up to the players not the host (good job kochi ;) )

If this happens again with summoning things sign me up for the gy keeper. I hate gy farming in bgs enough but in organized events like this it's just disrespectful especially when they wanna farm a lock for 5 minutes but then won't come out from hiding against a hunt. I say we have 2 hunts on each team at gy with a rdruid then 2 hunts fighting with the group and the hunts change every 5 or 10 minutes so each one gets the same fighting.. Any1 touches any1 at gy the hunts immediately blow them up. They continue to fight back they continue to die. Once they stop the hunts leave em alone.

Other then a few bad apples I thought it was pretty fun. Wasn't that much horde vs ally for me cuz of lag but was cool seeing everyone and doing a few duels

There was a ridiculous amount of people who obviously didn't read the thread for the 2nd event. The whole objective was tossed out the window, random allies ran right through the raid marker barrier when told to stop, plenty of assclowns farming at the rez point, to such a degree I did a suicide run just to get there to bail someone out. *wink* As for rezzing, w/e we are resetting everyone should make an effort to help out with rezzes, it makes things go so much faster.

Personally I think the idea had great potential but the teams needs to be more selective, so that everyone knows what's going on, rather than just back and forth zerging.

I managed to attend the event, and although it was nice to see so many ftps in one battle, the pvp was basically: cluster up and blindly dps while heals keep everyone at full unless they go to far into the enemy army. I had some idea to avoid this.
-Organize both armies into five man groups
-each group has one healer and 4 dps/tanks, and spread them throughout ZG.
-If the groups gather up, get a 90 to wipe the groups
-this would be better imo because it makes pvp more fun and reduces lag

You could also try to create an objective that would encourage group split.

Maybe 2 ViP 55 DKS for each team that stays in different locations of X world pvp location. Split teams and first team to take down both enemy VIPs wins.

This is just an example of course. I was never really a fan of straight up TDM unless it's arenas/1 life.

We were going to go for objective play, but with the amount of people who showed up and the obvious lack of people who read the TI thread/ don't have TI accounts, it was difficult to pull off.

My suggestion: set up a skype group for these events. Even if people don't have a mic, it should greatly help communication.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the event. I was not there this last Saturday, but I was at the event the week before(July 20th). I played on my horde warlock Cliffyclavin and then jumped over on my ally priest Noémi. I've pretty much shifted my main f2p to be my warlock, so expect to see me in some future events!
i guess, thanks Kochi for making this happen!!! :)
