Pro tip: turn off your monitor while playing so your computer can't see what your character has equipped
So logically, one could:
- Vendor after every epic drop, do dungeon run to have better chances at epics, then buy back from vendor before timer runs out. Rinse/repeat so one is running with no epics.
- Or trade epics to party member, do dungeon runs, trade item back before 2 hours. Rinse/repeat.
- Or vendor all epics over 2 weeks, do dungeon runs, use Blizzard restoration once every 2 weeks on the epics. Rinse/repeat.
i don't think that will "fix" it, the system knows how many epic dropped, depends on how dev write the code, it could have a formula to reduce drop chance based on how many epics dropped for this toon...
I will say that the chance to proc upgrades does appear to be somewhat increased after a period of inactivity, but quickly drops to 1/12 rate. How many boss kills did it take to get every single gem slot? You mean WF + socket right?Been building other toons, so I decided to play my lock who already has every gem slot. Ran one dungeon got two wf one with the socket. I hate to tell you this but blizzard listened to your post with the utmost care and respect and increased the drop rate.
i got extremly lucky. RNG gods blessed this toon with 1 week of farming. others i have 300+ solo runs and have 1-3 WF socketsHow many boss kills did it take to get every single gem slot? You mean WF + socket right?
Blizzard nerfs it all <insert Cthulu.jpg> and/or <ion_smug.gif>
We all have our bizzare rituals to get our epics
