US F2p/vet wargame saturday 11th

There is no reason why yall cant run 6v6+ WSG. Those games can still be extremely competitive and fun

3s would be fun, but there are too many crybabies when it comes to arenas. That or people who cant take a loss or two.
If I can make it tomorrow, i'll get WSG going - I just need an invite to the alliance community. Arenas are kinda wack without dispels though
 
I think the rules implemented are why nobody signed up.

We should allow players to play their vets without enchant/gear restrictions. FTPs should participate at their own expense. I personally dont think their disadvantage is severe - A geared/skilled FTP can make great contributions in wargames.
 
I dont think anyone is arguing the fact that the rules are causing people to not sign up. Just that its super retarded that the rules are causing people to not sign up.

I personally have 2 friends I play with that wont sign up because of the rules set.
For 2 weeks notice, I sure expected a lot more interest.
 
The real flaw is someone bashed and cussed complaining about vets since patch date tried to make f2p wargames and failed cause f2p community is none existant. Person then make successful vet wargames.
Saw an opportunity to make people play with a shitty ruleset and ran with it.

Solution screw f2p. I rather play with 29s and vets.
 
As predicted this wont work because obviously.

One should organize around the cream of the crop vet and let the f2p badders join if they are so inclined.

This will help influence the last f2p badders to finally make their 20 vet and stop fooling around with f2p as if f2p even exists...

Cater to the skill not the scrub.

It's honestly just fair to say that while there are a handful of us F2P who like and want competitive pvp, that there simply arent enough. Vets are the future of competitive pvp for 20s. Maybe folks will dip their toes in f2p in the future, maybe they wont.

Either way, I've rolled a couple vets so I can participate in the next round of wargames. Lets go!

I'll be taking things over in the near future.
I'll make a single thread, with linked in-game communities & discord channels for those interested in Wargames to use. The preparation & organization for these recent events weren't thorough or well thought out. While I do believe Neon tried to please the majority of players, the rules set were unrealistic, and I seen this coming a mile away.

I have my hands full with a few things right now, but I'll be sure to try to get the ball rolling for everyone soon
 
Neon has failed twice setting up wargames. If you want to create wargames you should be held responsible or at least pass leadership so it can go smoothly and not waste time for all of us.
