F2P PVP Server

F2P pvp server is that way -> GW2

Only non s-keying example of pvp I've seen from the most recent NDA lifted weekend. He has other vids from that event, but not a lot of WvWvW footage. Not much longer to wait now :)

GL with f2p pvp servers in wow though. Pick a place, preferably in the Chicago data center ;)

Um yes it is pointless. World PVP does not exist anymore. End of story. And I'll thank you to not call my statement stupid in a comment that is even more idiotic.

It's not a matter of "wanting to get the full potential of pvp" or any of that high handed bullshit. I live and fucking breath PvP and I'm stating it as a fact, what you consider world pvp now a days is not world pvp at all, it is a mockery of something that used to be fun and great.

Not to mention moving to a PvP server is a fucking horrible idea because how many times a day do you get people bitching about 85s at gurubashi? What makes you think there aren't the same exact kind of people waiting in every fucking contested zone for hours on end just to gank that one low level toon running through?

It's exactly as Yasueh said. PvP in wow is a joke, why do you think I don't pay for this game.

If you really want to do world PvP on F2P characters your better of recommending a good private server like Fennix rather then attempting to set up a new community in this version of wow where I say again, world pvp does not exist.

Oh, I don't doubt that you like AP or your alliance buddies but what do you think of AP horde? See I have friends on both sides, I play on both sides and to me that whole alliance vs horde thing is really dumb. But I play the game differently then most people and I'm starting to see that. I'm realizing that I'm not the majority, I'm the minority.

Someone told me recently, that I should play this game how I want to and not care what others think. So, I'm gonna keeping helping people and just let you guys disrespect each other to your heart's content. I just don't have it in me to try and explain why you shouldn't do this and you shouldn't do that. I guess the simplest way would be "treat others how you want to be treated", then again that's a bit selfish. Maybe "treat others how they should be treated".

By the way, we've had two world PvP 'events' since I've been at AP, one in Hellfire which concluded with us being camped, and another that Earl organized and went fairly well if I remember. However, for events like this to happen both sides have to respect each other in my opinion otherwise you have so-and-so is killing so-and-so cause they hate each other.

Doesnt mean its not called wpvp. But ok you play just f2p and see what p2p guilds do on a pvp server right?

Private servers are against wow and i dont like your "I" attitude either when you dont bring anything other then trolling mr community leader and not look at the facts but just I I I I opinions.

It makes me wonder how the trolling guy who I banned from the f2ptwink channel before got a Community Leader position. Unbelievable.

To clearify, i played wow from the start. That this game changes and makes you not wanting to do wpvp anymore because of several reasons blame blizzard for the changes and yourself not playing wpvp anymore. Saying wpvp died is just opinoned based about a game style you liked in classic. It is still there and you can still do it but i allready see you rather hug instanced pilars with small groups in a massive multyplayer online role playing game (mmorpg).

You can't provide facts for something like that as there isn't a reliable way to gather data, but anyone with eye's that has actually been playing this game since it's release can see that world PvP is dead. It's not a matter of not going out there and doing it myself, it's a matter of NOBODY doing it.

Get your facts that your so fond of straight pumpkin. I don't only play F2P. I have endgame toons on pvp servers that I do play on a regular basis. Don't make idiotic comments assuming that just because someone favors a certain bracket that they don't in fact experience what you do and play what you do because I do.

This makes me laugh. Do you even know what world pvp is? Why go attack the opposing factions town when you can just sit around and que up for BGs.
Why go into a contested territory to fight other players when you can sit in town and Que up for BGs?
What you think world pvp is, is just a bunch of people fighting each other in a NON battleground environment which is still faction vs faction and makes no difference on the world around it.

World pvp is attacking towns of the opposite faction and defending/assaulting accordingly. All your advertising is non BG pvp that is slightly more controlled as far as class balance. There are of course exceptions including most of the outlands zone objective, but not only are those extremely difficult for F2P characters to access how many times a MONTH do you see 85s saying HEY EVERYONE LETS GO MAKE A CONCENTRATED EFFORT TO FIGHT OFF THE HORDE DEFENDING HELLFIRE.

Never. It doesn't fucking happen anymore. Sure occasionally you get the one or two people that are flying through to get mog gear and say EH mine as well kill some NPCs.

This is just a statement born of dedication to wow that I used to share, but sadly I don't anymore. I support private servers because they are doing something that blizzard it self should be doing. Offering the chance for players to go back and experience those things that originally enamored them to this game.
I fully support private servers especially well populated ones that I linked and they are very enjoyable to play on if your not a die hard "if it's not from blizzard it's wrong" kind of person, and if you are I pity you.

Don't be stupid, you act like something that happens in a channel on one popular F2P twink server displays in any way dedication to this website or the twinking community.

With that I rest my case. If you want to argue more on the existence of world pvp the feel free to PM me but I'd rather not clog up the thread with more arguing and walls of text.

This is reversed. World pvp is dead which I have backed up with descriptions of my in-game experiences on highly populated pvp realms. Saying that it is not dead is an opinion that you vainly hold onto whilst providing no evidence to back it. In the end like I said it's all opinionated because there is no real way to measure the "facts" but if I we're to log on to a PvP realm at peak time I guarantee you I would find no one trying to attack or defend contested cities, because the guards are too powerful. I would find no one having intense battles in outlands over Halaa or Hellfire peninsula. And hell even though there are ACHIEVEMENTS for it and a MOUNT you rarely even have people attacking home cities.

The problem is, that both of us are very firm in our opinions, however since there is no feasible way to accurately measure the existence of world pvp the more popular opinion is generally regarded as fact. And that opinion is that world pvp is dead.

But please direct me to your magical server where world pvp is alive and well so I can come on and experience it for myself. Or hell at least even provid 1 maybe 2 examples of your world pvp instead of just claiming your right, with nothing to back it up.
 
well you say there was no wpvp in BH. I disagree although not on a 24/7 day basis depending on what faction you are if (A) than you have the horde 19s twink guilds to go up against which you can nearly always see (atleast 1) in BB and you can attract their attention by jumping around them and slowly moving outside to BB and duel or camp each other. Same story with (H). But going against fully geared 19s can be a pain as they will certainly 3 shot.<--- (if you disagree you never fought a 19 twink before). I've had my share with Hotskulyorl and Alerord where we would alternate checking in arena or BB to see if they were on. We would also ask 85s (because they are so f***ing nice) to go gank other allys. To bad people left , the three of us would have so much fun. I' ve asked Ale to move to AP but he wont get the addon.

No. The problem is you beeing stubborn. We are not both giving opinions. That is just you by saiying wpvp is dead. That is your opinion. I say it is not dead and its still allowed and supported by blizzard with realms, wich is a fact, im also running in SW as we speak.

I dont have to proof you this, you can just read about this game, its there and for the 2nd time if you dont like wpvp cause of several reasons and pvp is crap doesnt automaticly mean wpvp is dead. That is your opinion but not a fact.

Im posting neutral on this subject and not expressing my opinion wich is more or less the same as yours.

It seems like based on what your saying that you don't even know how to read. I however happened to love world pvp when it did live.

See it's funny because your whole argument is that blizzard still implements world pvp ingame, which is stupid.
That's like saying oh yeah people use ground mounts more then flying mount's cause blizzard includes those in the game.
It's a child's reasoning. Of course the game still offers the ABILITY to world pvp, I never said otherwise. What your failing to understand is that NO ONE DOES IT. Not like they used to. Like I said before occasionally you'll have town raids for the mount and the achievement but that's it. It's sad.

And also I never said that the death of world pvp was because pvp is crap. In fact pvp being crap is more of a result of the destruction of world pvp.
The death of it was caused by blizz beefing up town guards making it so people don't want to attack and control contested areas for funsies.
The death of it was caused by blizz implementing things that allow you to participate in nearly any kind of pvp from the safety of your home town.
The death of it was caused by blizz enabling you to fly/summon a full raid group to anywhere making any kind of organized combat and staging completely useless.
The death of it was caused by blizz.

But no! Your right because blzz says that world pvp exists that's a fact! No matter all the articles and information out there on well respected and trusted gaming sites that all agree with everything I've said. To hell with non blizzard information!

You didnt read properly. My argument is that i was also doing wpvp, (adding now) : seeing people promote wpvp, people asking in trade for wpvp and forming groups to do so.. that blizzard thing was just something extra wich you take out of my writing and type a wall of text about that :s

No twinking isn't dead but the thing about world pvp is the only thing people do now is the achievement for the bear, and they do that but rarely. Any other kind of world pvp, the stuff I consider world pvp not just achievement running IE hellfire ramparts attacking honor hold trying to wipe barrens then hold it back from the horde, no one does any of that anymore. That's world pvp in my opinion.

God damn you I've lost the will to argue cause I can't stop smiling at "the noodle" :(
 
when Blizz wiped southshore and all allince from hillsbrad....that killed alot of world PVP right there.

trying to get too many F2P's on one server imo creates problems and invites 24's to look for and farm you.

after going thru the pain on a decent pop server of getting a AGM....i built my nest F2P on a crappy low pop server. cause i don't care about a pretend community, i want my gear fast and ready to roll into the BGs. i don't want to have a 20 who still 4 months later still needs a AGM or 2
