once i have internet somewhere other than work i will have to get in on this. Im told i have the voice of sean conery if he were an angel

Moar stats, this week's amount of users on the channel:

As you can see the numbers aren't very high, but that's normal considering that the channel hasn't been around for long yet and people aren't used to it.
But tell your friends to install the software and join the channel, or just connect and wait for someone to show up to talk to. I've noticed several people that come on regularly. Just don't connect simply to check if anyone is online and then leave if the server's empty, leave Mumble open as you're gaming and someone is very likely to connect after some time.

[10:00:09 PM] Connecting to server F2PWoW.ga.
[10:00:10 PM] Connected.
[10:00:10 PM] Server connection rejected: Wrong certificate or password.

Did the installation and everything went fine. Closed mumble then opened it a few hours later to get the "Mumble server connect screen" in which I clicked on my previous favorite then connect and it gave me that message. I am not going to recertify everytime I open it and I want to just use the US realms option instead of having to make a favorite that no1s on just to see the server options

Certificates work in odd ways and can be quite a hassle, lots of people have problems with them.
What Mumble is saying in that error message is that you're trying to connect to the server as a registered user but that you're certificate is not the one that user was registered with. Could it be that you after you registered yourself on the channel, you changed or made a new certificate?

I just removed your name (Lil) from the registered users list (I un-registered you), so you should now be able to connect again, and right-click your username and press Register to register anew. Just make sure that you never change your certificate because your certificate is what allows someone to use the name Lil on the channel after it has been registered.

Could you elaborate on the "just want to use the US realms options instead of having to make a favorite that no1s on just to see the server options" part, I don't know what you're referring to.

closed mumble then reopened in the SAME random server screen with like 1000 servers to choose from
tried my "favorite" server which i just made not even 2 minutes ago

I saw you had registered anew as "lil", I just removed that one from the registered users list as requested. You will be able to register as "Lil" now if you want to, the name is free.

I notice you are misunderstanding a few Mumble-related features, so let me clear them up for you:

- When you open Mumble, the Mumble Server Connect window pops up. There will by default be a tab called Public Internet filled with tons of servers. You want nothing to do with all these public servers so click the little triangle left of the "Public Internet" label and the tab will close.

- To connect to a server you press the Add New... button in the Mumble Server Connect window. What this does is it adds the specified server to your favorites in order to let you easily to connect to the server of your choice every time you start Mumble, this is also the only way to connect to the F2P WoW server.

- I'm not sure what you mean with "created a random server to connect to just so i could be able to connect to the misha server that I wanted (makes no sense)". But just to clear things up; there is no Misha server, there is only the F2P WoW Mumble server which has a subchannel called Misha. Thus when you register on Misha, you register on the whole F2P WoW Mumble server, vice versa.

- You haven't precisely stated this, but I think you've been making several new certificates. This is a BIG no no! You only ever make on certificate, you make it properly, and you never change it or make a new one! (unless you know what you're doing) So what I suggest you do now is create one FINAL certificate, set all the details correctly and properly, then connect to the F2P WoW Mumble and register one final time and never make a new certificate or uninstall Mumble ever again thereafter. (Also, make sure to use the correct Username in the favorite server settings before registering. Because you will not be able to change the username after you've registered. I noticed your last registered username was "lil" instead of "Lil", so if that is something you'd like to change then do it now by clicking on the server in your favorites and clicking the Edit... button.)

If you have any more issues and you'd rather discuss them on Skype, then send me a PM with your Skype-username. Otherwise I can always provide further assistance on here as well.

Step by step as I do it.

- Went here to DL
- Accepted terms and what not, installed
- Opened mumble and... uhh ok

Well before the last time I uninstalled it I clicked on the "reconnect to last server on startup" option because every time I logged on I had to reconnect to a server manually and it wouldnt let me use my favorite because it would give me that message which forced me to make multiple accounts (or I guess they are really certificates) which was annoying... Looks like its ok now.

Sorry for the confusion it was just getting frustrating having to make a new server and "account" everytime I closed mumble. Will try and test this out on our next premade :)

No problem. Also, don't bother reinstalling Mumble if something isn't working.
When Mumble tells you that you're using the wrong certificate or password it probably has something to do with the certificate and username not matching. Actually, let me give you a quick explanation on how certificates work.

A certificate only has one purpose, and that is to keep anyone else on a Mumble server from using your name.
When you register on the F2P WoW Mumble server, you are telling the server "Don't let anyone use my name on this server except for if they are using my certificate.". Now the server will save your username to the registered users list and it will remember the certificate you used while registering.
So next time you connect to the server, it will read your certificate and notice that you have used that certificate to register your name "Lil" with and thus will automatically assign that name to you.
But, if you now were to start using a new certificate, or someone else was to try to connect to the server with your name, then the server would notice that someone is trying to connect to the server as "Lil" but they aren't using the certificate which you used when registering the name. The server will then forbid the user from entering the server with that name and give them the error "Server connection rejected: Wrong certificate or password.".

If you ever get that connection error again and you're unsure about what you did wrong, tired, and just want to get on Mumble to chat, then change your username by clicking on Server in the top-left of the Mumble window, then click on Connect, then select the F2P WoW Mumble server or whatever you named it as when you added it as a favorite, click the Edit... button, and then lastly change the Username to some name that hasn't been registered for sure like "Lil123" for example and click OK.
Now you will hopefully be able to connect to the server and you should then just use Mumble without being registered. It really is no problem to use it without being registered, there are simply a couple features like linking channels in Premade part of Mumble and making temporary private channels under the Private Rooms subchannel that won't work, so you'll be fine. :)

And don't hesitate to ask further questions.

Haha, you all are flipping crazy! Good times in chat tonight! Remember, y'all promised to keep logging every time ur playing f2p. I'll hold you to that. And everyone else... gtf in mumble ffs!
