Experiences wise, best time in AV yesterday. Was able to do 5 AVs yesterday @ 22 min Ques. GG for whoever played yesterday. Awesome games all day.

Special Thanks to Guildies & Everyone on my Real Id Ally/Horde who listened to Que up for AV only & every F2p who also participated in this event.

29 arms war semi twinked. Good up time with boars speed and currently using crusader since it was not nerfed like some others. Very fun.

P2p Boomie 29 here. Tested arena and permade bgs extensively, no duels though cuz gs lag.

The more targets the better we get, dots + ef is doing good damage but it has become a lot harder to maximise your damage with eclipse. Star fire cast time at 3 seconds means it can be hard to land now. The int = cat agi thing is a nice little addition that gives some instant damage and burst from bite. Gimmick 2x surge db bite can easily 100-0 someone but leaves you incredibly vulnerable, mostly a gimmick. In premades I would only go cat to finish off wounded players trying to flee, otherwise keep the pressure up with dots and hard cast damage. Not hitting as hard as spriest but feeling a lot more mobile and beam is awesome.

Great thread! I can't figure out why anyone isn't mention the Q times... I haven't played in months and I got back on my Spriest and the random BG queues were awful. No skirmishes hardly either. I don't do much organized twink play, but I guess I'll have to start. Someone kindly suggested I turn off AV and maybe it helped (10 minute WSG q at peak time), but this is way worse and really the reason I got into this bracket in the first place. :(

OK BACK ON TOPIC: My spriest is a beast at least against random scrubs. I fought a few decent twinks, though, and I didn't feel threatened by any class other than maybe a solid ret pally or maybe ww monk. Healers I needed a little help from time to time to take down. The new priest stealth mode is godly. The devouring plague heal is godly. The orb glyph is godly. I don't miss pyschic scream because the stacking speed buff on my defiler's boots is godly. I really can't complain, I think we are in a great spot! I was top dps in almost all of the bgs I fought... won the few skirmishes I did easily. If I had some real competition in 2s or 3s I'm sure I would have some more realistic comments, but hey that's my thoughts so far.

As far as other classes:

Hunter is way less powerful than I remember and I'm glad. I have the feeling that you actually need skill now to play them.

Rogues are the same.

Ferals seem really strong, but not against me.

Disc Priests are obviously killer.

Ret pallies are pretty beast I think.

Monks got tha buffs apparently, but they aren't super scary just hard to kill and do actual damage.

Didn't see hardly any warriors, warlocks, shaman or mages that made any difference.

Makes me wonder what trashy ww monks you've met. Close to spammable blackouts critting for 700, very high auto attack damage, 2x EF and FoF doing 3,5k (no crits) in one sitting. Then add their insane mobility and heal for a pretty sick kit.

Is it worth resubbing for?

Promo expired ^

For what its worth retarded hp rsham fc Havent even loooked at new enchants yet. This thing is so damn broken. 6.5k hp with fort. Literally just runs circles around things. Frost shock, earthbind totem, and wolf nullify melee. Hots, shear, and 2.5k crit heals in full stam gear. Quite broken I must say.

Affliction Warlock, 29.

Its really hard to say since I've only played a handful of BGs however; here is my opinion regardless.

Like in expansions past, your primary objective/goal is to throw as many bloody DoTs on as many bloody people as possible, ontop of fear botting the crap out of healers, FCs and peeling for healers. With soul burn and seed of corruption, you can (at times) without wasting the mana and time DoTTing individual people. Generally I try to DoT 3-5 people (minions/pets included) that are within range of the Seed's blast (10 yards). Other than that, you really have two primary options. Play offensive, DoT what you can, fear bot healers, Corrupt the enemies or defend your FC and fear bot people who are on them and/or the healers, making sure stealthies have DoTs on them even if they LoS and just trying to keep your FC and Healers up as much as possible.

On a positive note; Drain Life is a great way to attack enemies before they LoS, healthstone heals (me) for 1150 (roughly) and can double if you choose the right glyph. In 1v1 situations, you should swap out your glyph for Demon Training major glyph or Healthstone major glyph so you either wipe your DoTs from the enemy when you succubus seduces them, OR you get healed for roughly 2300 hp (which is half my lock's hp before wearing balance stamina set).

All and all; I love Affliction Warlocks, rogues and druids are a bloody pain in the arse which is why I'm making a balance stamina set in case I run into rogues or druids during BGs. In arenas with the high burst damage from double DPS comps; you melt instantly even in 3's if you are peeled for you won't last as long as a FoTM or a hybrid class. So; you have your place in competitive BGs, I'm sure perhaps in 5's or 3's with the right comp you will make it work; unfortunately I haven't yet. :<
