DPS comparison between the most popular / common 2H TW weapons as an 11 Warrior (2nd attempt)

windscar whetstone and spiked counterweight

bit of a secondary stat loss running these two trinkets but i think they'll be deemed bis soon. Theyre insane. easy 200 dps increase when they work together
okay counterweight isnt that good cuz of proc rate and pops sometimes on little mobs. but faulty countermeasure is good for big add pulls. u can also pre pop it since it lasts 30 seconds and have a little extra dps during boss fights if u use another on use trinket on pull

Would love to see this keep going, with Tw bc this week, would scepter of sha’tar x2 BIS or more viable than the the mace from stratholme living side? I have a one scepter and a blue rivendare…looking for some more experienced peoples take on the weapons (I know basically most 2h work fine but I’m looking to min/max to the limit haha)

Outside of a weapons raw dps, it all comes down to the secondaries you have and the weapons have

^ This.
With no DPS sim that REALLY works despite some on the forums best efforts its basically impossible to know exactly what stat %'s we are aiming for, so without knowing real stat priorities its tough to know what weapon is the best.
What might perform really well for 1 person, an entirely different weapon might be BiS for another person, all based off their stats overall.

I mean how could we possibly know? We are just dumb lvl 11s remember? :Troll:

With Amnesia socketed and lifestealing on both weapons you're done. For a warrior that's the "I can do it on my own" moment. After that it's up to you. I find getting close to 25% haste on a few tiny toons allows me to use the skills I have available more often. Look at the buttons you use and follow the rabbit hole. On my 13 Paly I offheal the tank, dispel and other stuff so I stack mastery and haste - make my holy damage and heals higher and use my spells more often. Don't forget the most important part though and that's have fun. So if you want to stack crit to the moon because you love seeing big numbers, go nuts my dude.

I don't even have Amnesia. But I can't tell the difference between my Toon that does 110 whirlwind dmg per looking at the spell book damage and my other toon that does 87 whirlwind dmg. Because it still takes the same amount of hits to take enemies down. Doesn't matter if you're hitting 26% of their hp per or or 34% per hit it still takes 3 to 4 hits to take out an enemy. The health pools just aren't big enough to factor in tiny amounts of damage gains.

The most important things it seems is the sockets for the shadowlands gems for the heal and movement speed and the life steal on weapons.

I've got a haste build, crit build, strength build. I personally like the crit build the most.

Another thing to keep in mind is that dps sims are made for boss fights, not clearly trash mobs in dungeons.
