yes and yeeeesh. medicore beat (which i bet he didnt make) and boo boo lyrics (which i bet he might not have even fully written)

majority of rappers these days dont make there own beats, the "producer" does. and in the case of something, timberland produced and i am guessing wrote the song since it was for his album.
 
Beats are a byproduct of the music, you do not make them. You make the rhythms.



Unless we are talking about this super cool underground hip hop innovation which involves taking already defined things which you are ignorant about and applying your own meaning to them, disregarding the fact that what you are doing is nothing special and already has plenty of adequate terms to describe it.

Yes but this is an abuse of terminology due to musical ignorance. Those same people churn out atrocious kick snare kick snare clones while thinking they are being all original
