I wasn't sure I wanted to say anything on this Site about this but I think it helps to add to his memory. I lost a good WoW friend to Covid-19 a week ago, he was just 33. I met Brandon during WotLK, along with a dozen other people that I played with on and off for more than a decade.
Strangely enough, I met 4 of this circle of friends a few years prior when they got me hooked on Eve Online, my 1st foray into MMO's. This was around 2006 iirc. I came to WoW in 2007 during TBC and for the most part stuck around ever since (missing chunks here and there).
If I had to describe Brandon, I'd say he was kind, quite hilarious at times, had a great sense of humor and was overall great fun to play video games with. As I was usually Raid Lead during WotLK, Brandon was always prepared, on time, knew the fights and took direction well.
I still remember the shenanigans we got up to like dragging one of the Caverns of Time Dragons all the way to Org to end up dying laughing so hard when it killed everyone in site. Another time when we "Raided" Zul'Gurub and one of our friends was lagging behind but came in strong on his mount then got sheeped while STILL ON THE MOUNT. It was the funniest thing I've seen in WoW.
I'll miss playing with Brandon, I'll miss having him as a friend and I hope his Family learn in time to laugh about all the good parts. I made this Player Portrait for him and added a new Rank in my Guild for his Characters. Covid sucks.
