I'm so confused. I ditched Arkte's discord server after it turned into some dramatic BS and some new concept discord based on generic gaming.
What about the logs he showed concerning you only caring about milking this site for money? Unless they were doctored it still puts you in a bad light.
I personally don't care since I barely play WoW anymore, but it's nice to know that XPOff is here if I ever return to twinking because I've spent so much time here and the community is wonderful regardless of who runs the site (hopefully with the launch of Classic I can come back to twinking).

It already wasn't the most popular Conqthing ever even within the staff to begin with, and after some discussing, thinking-through and sleeping-over-it this was definitely ditched for good.

It's unbelievable how much drama a 'simple' twink site has to endure since I started being involved here in like 2016. To be honest, it's hard to know who to trust now. Both sides tell us a different story and I know that both Conq and Arkte are controversial. I think we as community deserve to see some kind of logs that prove who is right, otherwise what we'll see is that the community will be split between here and BlizzardHQ.

As an open forum and database for the exact thing you spend your days playing, I believe it’s awfully trivially for those of you that have contributed nothing to what this site has become to be complaining. Furthermore I think everyone that helps to contribute and continues to support a base and wealth of knowledge available to everyone is on the right track. You doom and gloom posters who only care about where you “think” the site is going are just trying to deter people from trying to better the community they are trying to bring down. I for one, am grateful for the xpoff staff and community members. Regardless of the passed or what you believe has transpired facts are facts and for anyone to continue to put up with baby behavior and continue to keep up an open forum is a 1 in my book. Thank you @Conq and everyone who has continued to keep this site up and allow people to continue to share knowledge and enjoy a community everyone has helped to build.

Conq trusted Stabatha, someone believed to be a reputable member of this community, with access to sensitive information.
I don't know the extent of Arkte's involvement with Stabatha, but it appears the long con was played.
Despite any differences people may have with Conq or the direction of the website, the attempt at a hostile takeover was ethically wrong and illegal.
They tried to justify their actions by claiming every 'Founder' was in approval of their actions, however they left out their ill intentions and shady motives.
These staff members claimed that Arkte and Stabatha approached them saying they were creating an entirely new website for the community because they disapproved of how Conq ran it, when instead, they were in the middle of committing a felony by hijacking the XPOFF & TI dB, redirecting the domain, maliciously setting up a 7 day TTL on the DNS, and more to sabotage the website.
Arkte states in his 'Welcome' post that members no longer have to worry about greed and corruption of staff, except that's exactly what their website is completely built upon, let alone the reason why he was removed from the administration in the first place.
"Managing the human element is the most challenging aspect of managing insider threats."
